JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a Los Angeles-area luxury watch and fine jewelry business. Your job is to grow online jewelry sales and qualified inquiries for custom pieces and engagement rings. Average jewelry order value is approximately $3,000. We sell ready-to-ship and made-to-order jewelry, which have different buying journeys and delivery expectations.

You will work directly with the owner of the company & our direct of jewelry, using our brand style, real product photography and video, and Holo for AI-assisted creative production. The advertising budget grows as results support it.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

- Paid acquisition: Plan, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns for purchases and custom jewelry inquiries. Recommend the starting plan and budget split across Meta and Google.

- Google Ads: Manage Search, and use Shopping or Performance Max where justified. Monitor search terms, negative keywords, and Merchant Center feed issues.

- Creative production and testing: Own concepts, copy, and finished static and carousel ads built with Holo and similar AI tools. All product imagery comes from our real photography. AI is used for backgrounds, layouts, and composition, never to render the jewelry itself. Test clear hypotheses with spend limits, allowing for delayed purchases.

- Measurement: Validate Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google conversion tracking, UTMs, and catalogs. Fix standard setup issues and flag anything needing technical help before launch.

- Lead quality: Define qualified inquiries with our sales and CRM team, connect campaigns to consultations and closed sales, and feed qualified-lead and closed-sale data back to the ad platforms where feasible.

- Reporting: Report weekly on spend, qualified lead cost, customer acquisition cost, sales, and contribution after advertising. Separate platform attribution from actual business results and recommend next steps.

- Conversion improvements: Identify weaknesses in product pages, inquiry forms, offers, and the path to purchase. Recommend changes and coordinate implementation.

HOW WE EXPECT YOU TO THINK

- Purchase volume will be low relative to order value, and many sales follow an inquiry rather than a checkout. Keep account structure simple and spending disciplined.

- Be ready to defend your optimization choices and say what evidence would change them.

- Creative should feel premium and credible. Check every AI output for accurate jewelry details, readable text, and truthful claims before launch.

- Our sales team handles follow-up and CRM. Our content team supplies photography and video. You own ad production and creative quality. Video editing is not required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Proven hands-on Meta Ads results, with the budget, timeframe, your responsibilities, and how sales were measured.

- Experience with both e-commerce and lead generation, including using sales feedback on lead quality and closed business.

- Hands-on Google Search capability and working knowledge of Merchant Center and Shopping. Advanced Google Ads expertise is a plus.

- Strong written English, an excellent design eye, and hands-on AI creative skills. Show how you prompt, evaluate, and refine outputs into finished ads. Advanced graphic design and video editing are not required.

- Comfort calculating acquisition costs and contribution margins, judging uncertain results, and recommending where the next dollar goes.

- Independent execution, reliable communication, and the ability to explain decisions plainly to the owner.

- Holo experience is helpful; comparable AI tools are welcome. Jewelry, bridal, high-value purchases, Shopify, HubSpot, or Klaviyo experience is a plus.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS

- 30 days: Tracking and customer journey audited, acquisition economics and qualified-lead criteria agreed, first campaigns and creative tests live.

- 60 days: Reliable weekly reporting in place, sales feedback connected to campaign decisions, early winning offers and creative identified.

- 90 days: A clear recommendation on what to scale, improve, or stop, backed by acquisition costs, sales outcomes, and documented tests.

PAY AND SCHEDULE

- Full-time, long-term remote role for a Philippines-based professional. 40 hours per week.

- Starting compensation is $1,200 USD per month, paid twice monthly.

- At least four hours of daily overlap with US Pacific business hours; remaining hours are flexible. We will agree on exact overlap before you start, following Pacific Time through daylight saving changes.

- Formal performance and compensation review at 90 days, with the opportunity for an increase based on results.

- Paid two-week trial at the full regular rate, prorated from $1,200 per month, with deliverables agreed in advance. Assessment covers analysis, creative quality, execution, and communication.

HOW TO APPLY

Use the subject line CARAT | Your Name and include the following. Keep answers concise; links and brief bullets are welcome.

1. One account example: product, average order value, monthly spend, dates, your responsibilities, changes, and results. Distinguish platform reporting from confirmed sales. Include redacted evidence where permitted.

2. One or two finished ads you created, ideally using AI. Name the tools, explain your contribution and refinements, and share performance results if available.

3. Our average order value is about $3,000 with roughly 70% gross margin. What is our break-even ROAS? Given that this account will not reach 50 purchase events per week, what would you optimize for in month one, and how would you plan to move toward purchase optimization?

4. With a modest starting budget for online jewelry sales and custom inquiries, and limited conversion history, what would you prioritize, defer, and ask before spending?

5. Your hands-on experience with Meta, Google Search, Shopping or Performance Max, and tracking. Specify what you can manage independently.

6. Your available four-hour daily Pacific Time overlap, earliest start date, and confirmation that 40 hours per week and the stated compensation work for you.

Applications without the CARAT subject line or without an answer to question 3 will not be reviewed.

Shortlisted candidates will discuss their work, a campaign scenario, and their AI creative process live. We value clear reasoning, honest attribution, and adaptability.
