JOB OVERVIEW

I’m hiring a performance-focused Video Editor and Scriptwriter for my e-commerce brand. The goal is to create high-converting Meta ads (Facebook/Instagram) by researching what works right now, writing cohesive scripts, and producing/editing creatives at scale.

Important. Meta only for now.

Collaboration
Long-term role. Hourly pay. Before starting long-term, there will be a paid test on a product that is already running.

What you will do
1. Trend and ad research

• Research winning ad patterns using ad libraries and spy tools (Trendtrack or similar)
• Share actionable references and explain why they work

2. Scriptwriting aligned with marketing angles

• Write clear, coherent scripts per angle (pain point, transformation, authority, proof, demo, objections)
• Turn one concept into multiple variations without losing the core message

3. Asset sourcing and batch building

• Source B-roll, UGC-style clips, stock, and reusable patterns
• Keep everything organized (folders, naming, versions)

4. Performance editing for Meta

• Communicate the hook clearly in the first 3 seconds
• Produce fast iterations (new hooks, intros, pacing, captions, CTAs)
• Clean, readable captions and strong pacing

5. AI-first ad formats (required)
You must be able to produce modern formats, including:

• 100% AI UGC ads (AI customer at home, testimonial, review, demo)
• 100% AI doctor/authority ads (AI expert character, credible delivery)
• 100?rtoon/animated ads (full cartoon style)
• And also integrate AI elements into standard edits (voice, scenes, avatars)

Paid Test (Required)
1 full concept (script + edit) plus 2 to 3 variations (different hooks/intros).

To apply
Please send:
• Your portfolio (Meta ads)
• Examples of AI creatives you made (AI UGC, AI doctor, cartoon)
• Your hourly rate and weekly availability
• A short answer. How do you find a winning trend and turn it into 5 coherent variations?
