JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a senior, AI-first Meta media buyer who shows up with the plan. If you get genuinely excited about account structure, creative testing, and finding the angle nobody else in the market is running, use AI as a daily working partner, and would rather lead the thinking than wait for a task list, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Manage multiple Facebook ad accounts across both lead generation and ecommerce, each with its own goals, economics, and definition of a win.

Own the strategy. You d ---------- what gets tested, in what order, and why, then you build the accounts and campaigns yourself.

Create some of your own ad images so testing never stalls waiting on someone else.

Own reporting. We want to know what happened, why it happened, and what you're doing about it next.

You'll partner with our team on execution and creative, and we work together to win. You lead the thinking on media.

In your first 30 to 60 days, success looks like you telling us what we should be testing, how, and when. You should have a clear point of view on which accounts are healthy, which are leaking, what's working, what isn't, and what you want to try next. We're hiring for strategic ownership, not task completion.

Schedule

Work hours are flexible but need to overlap with our team between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST during active work. Just want to make sure you can meet inside that window. This starts as a gig and can move into part-time or ongoing employment for the right person.

What We're Looking For

An AI-first mindset. You use AI as a real working partner every day, and it shows in how you work.
Independent problem-solving. You think first, use AI to amplify your thinking, and verify before sending anything off.

A strategy-first approach. You're someone who shows up with the plan and tells us what we should be doing, testing, and improving. You partner with our team on execution, but you lead the thinking on your work.
Deep comfort in Meta Ads Manager, and heavy daily use of Claude or a comparable AI tool.

Senior-level range. You've run both lead gen and ecommerce accounts and you understand why those two are built and judged differently.

Comfortable creating your own ad images when you need one to test an idea.

A real love for this work. That comes through fast in conversation, and we'd rather hire someone who has it than someone who's just qualified.

How to Apply

A few things we'd love you to do, in order.

Please start your reply with the word "Jamal." We use this as a small check to spot applicants who read instructions carefully.

Without it, we won't be able to review your application.

Record a 5-minute video answering the questions below. No script needed. We just want to get a feel for how you think.

Share your full tool stack with self-ratings (1 to 10). These ones we already know we need.
Meta Ads Manager /10
Claude or your primary AI tool /10

Then add every other tool you use, one per line, with a /10.

Include AI tools, image tools, spreadsheets you've built, tracking and analytics platforms, niche tools, the works. Honesty matters more than scoring high. The video will give us a sense of where you actually are.

Tell us the ad spend you're responsible for. Three numbers, plainly stated.

How many ad accounts you manage right now

Total monthly ad spend you're managing today across all of them, in USD

The single highest month of total ad spend you've ever managed across accounts at one time, in USD, and roughly when that was

We're not screening for the biggest number. We want to understand the scale you've operated at and how comfortable you are being accountable for someone else's money.

Walk us through your work history. For your last 2 or 3 clients or accounts.

What was the monthly ad spend on that account when you started, and what is it now?

Was it lead gen or ecommerce?

What did you do for them?

What was the outcome? Where were they when you started, and where are they now, in revenue, lead volume, ROAS, or CPL?

If you have current clients, where are those accounts today?

We're trying to understand how you measure your own impact. The more specific, the better.

Quick confirmation that you can work somewhere inside the hours described above.

How You Use AI

In your video, spend a minute or so on this. The more specific the better.

Which AI tools you use daily, weekly, and occasionally

A specific example of a task in this role where AI saves you real time, and how you use it

A time AI gave you a wrong or bad output. How you caught it, and what you did about it

Anything you've intentionally chosen NOT to let AI do in your work, and why

We're looking for real, lived examples. The specifics tell the story.

A Few Questions for Your Video

Take these in order, and just talk through them naturally.

If we handed you three accounts on day one, walk us through your first week. What are you looking at, in what order, and what's the first hypothesis you'd want to test?

Structuring a lead gen account versus an ecommerce account. What do you actually do differently, and where do you see people get it wrong?

Walk us through how you'd diagnose a campaign with strong CTR and cheap clicks that isn't producing revenue or qualified leads.

Tell us about the highest-spend month you've ever managed. What broke, or what almost broke, and how did you handle it?

Why do you love this work? Tell us about a recent campaign or ---------- nt that reminded you why you do it.

Andromeda changed how Meta retrieves and serves creative. What have you changed about how you build accounts and feed creative in the last year because of it?
