READ THIS FIRST!!
We are looking for a part-time Meta Ads Designer for approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
We are looking for someone who wants to become deeply involved in the brand — not someone who simply waits for a design brief, creates exactly what they're told, and moves on.
Creative initiative is extremely important to us.
We want a designer who looks at an idea and thinks:
“I know how I can make this stronger — and I already have three other versions we should test.”
You should be able to execute creative direction AND bring your own ideas to the table.
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, develop your creative skills, learn what actually makes advertising perform, and potentially grow into a full-time position with a fast-growing brand, keep reading.
How to Apply
Please send us:
Show us your strongest work. We are especially interested in Meta ads, ecommerce advertising, direct-response creative, DTC, beauty, skincare, wellness, or consumer brands.
Whether you have strong, reliable internet
Confirm your availability and hours
Confirm your skills to use Figma
Confirm you are interested in doing the test project
If your portfolio looks like a fit, we'll send you a test project right away
With design, we believe the fastest way to identify great talent is to see the actual work. We're not interested in multiple interviews or hypothetical questions.
Resume + Portfolio → Test Project → Offer
If your test project is great, we'll move quickly toward an offer.
About MyMagicHealer
MyMagicHealer is a fast-growing consumer skincare company with a mission to help people stress less over their skin.
We sell across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop and have served hundreds of thousands of customers.
Meta advertising is an important part of our growth, and we're looking for a talented designer to help us consistently produce exceptional advertising creative.
What You'll Own
Your primary responsibility will be designing high-performing Meta ad creatives.
You will work closely with our creative and growth team to turn customer research, hooks, offers, creative concepts, winning ads, and performance insights into new advertising creative.
You will:
Design static ads for Meta
Turn creative briefs and rough ideas into polished ads
Create multiple variations of winning creatives
Come up with your own visual concepts and advertising ideas
Research competitor ads and successful DTC brands
Study our winning and losing creatives
Use performance learnings to improve future designs
Test different layouts, headlines, product presentations, testimonials, benefits, offers, and visual approaches
Iterate quickly based on feedback
Keep creative files organized
Consistently deliver work on time
We Don't Just Want Someone Who Makes Things Pretty
A beautiful ad that doesn't communicate anything isn't a successful ad.
We are looking for someone who understands that Meta ads need to get attention, communicate quickly, and ultimately drive action.
You should naturally think:
Why would someone stop scrolling?
What's the first thing their eye sees?
Is the message immediately clear?
How could I make this concept stronger?
What else could we test?
You don't need to be a media buyer.
But you should be genuinely curious about what happens after your ad launches.
Did it perform?
Why?
What can we learn?
What should we create next?
What We're Looking For
You should have:
Strong graphic design skills
Excellent visual taste
Experience designing digital or social advertising
A strong understanding of typography, hierarchy, composition, contrast, and layout
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva, or similar tools
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow brand guidelines while still thinking creatively
Strong organization and time management
Ability to receive feedback and iterate quickly
Curiosity about advertising, consumer psychology, and creative performance
Experience with Meta Ads, ecommerce, DTC, skincare, beauty, wellness, supplements, or consumer brands is highly preferred.
Creative Initiative Is Extremely Important
We will give you:
Creative strategy
Customer research
Hooks
Messaging
Winning ads
Performance insights
References
Product information
But we do not want someone who needs every design decision explained to them.
We want you to bring ideas too.
You should regularly be looking at:
Meta Ad Library
Competitors
DTC brands
Creative trends
Winning ads
Customer reviews
Our own creative performance
…and thinking:
“What should we test next?”
What Success Looks Like
An exceptional person in this role will:
Consistently produce strong new Meta creatives
Deliver work on schedule
Quickly turn winning concepts into new iterations
Proactively bring new visual ideas to the team
Improve their creative based on performance data
Become increasingly independent
Understand our brand and customer deeply
Become someone the team can trust to take an idea and run with it
For the right person, there is an opportunity for this position to grow from approximately 20 hours/week into a full-time role as the company and creative needs continue to grow.
NON-NEGOTIABLE: Strong & Reliable Internet
This is extremely important.
Because this is a remote position, you MUST have strong and reliable internet.
You will regularly need to:
Download and upload large creative files
Work in cloud-based tools
Attend team calls
Communicate with the team
Access shared drives and project management systems
Repeated internet issues that prevent you from attending calls, uploading files, or completing work efficiently will not work for this role.
Please make sure you have a reliable internet connection and working setup before applying.
You Will Probably Love This Role If...
You constantly notice ads while scrolling.
You save interesting creatives because something about them catches your attention.
You enjoy figuring out why an ad works.
You get excited when something you designed performs well.
You don't need someone else to come up with every idea.
You're fast.
You're curious.
You're reliable.
You like feedback.
And when someone gives you one concept, your brain immediately starts thinking about five other ways to execute it.
You Should NOT Apply If...
You only want to execute exactly what is written in a brief
You need extremely detailed instructions before starting
You don't proactively bring creative ideas
You dislike receiving feedback or making iterations
You regularly miss deadlines
You aren't interested in understanding how your creative performs
You have unreliable internet
You struggle to communicate consistently while working remotely
You cannot reliably commit approximately 20 hours per week
One Last Thing
We're not hiring someone simply because they know how to use Photoshop, Canva, or Figma.
We're looking for a creative thinker who happens to be an excellent designer.
Someone who can execute.
Someone who brings ideas.
Someone who wants to know whether their work actually performed.
And someone who has the potential to grow with us from this part-time role into an important full-time member of our creative team.
