JOB OVERVIEW

Meta Ads Media Buyer & Creative Specialist — European Furniture Brand (Full-Time, Long-Term)

Salary: $1,200–$1,700/month depending on experience + performance bonuses up to $500/month
Hours: Full-time
Type: Independent contractor, long-term (we're building a team, not filling a gap)

About us

We run two fast-growing direct-to-consumer furniture webshops in the Netherlands and Germany. We work with a proven creative testing system from one of the world's top DTC scaling programs. You'll be our first performance hire, working directly with the founder, with a clear path to leading your own small creative team as we scale.

The role

You will own Meta advertising for our German store end-to-end. That means:

Media buying: manage the full Meta account — campaign structure (CBO), budgets within agreed limits, publishing, naming conventions, kill/scale decisions based on our testing rules
Creative strategy: work from our angle databank and briefing templates; d ---------- what to test next and why, based on customer awareness levels
Creative production: make the ads yourself — statics and video edits (AI tools welcome), following our brief templates
Reporting: weekly report on agreed KPIs (ROAS/MER, testing cadence, winners found)

Ads run in German. You don't need to speak German, we have a translation and quality-check workflow, but you must be comfortable producing ads in a language you don't speak, with strict QC before anything goes live.

What success looks like

After onboarding you run the account without daily founder input: 20 new creatives tested per week through our system, ROAS/MER on target at €1000-€5000/day spend.

Requirements
2+ years hands-on Meta Ads for DTC e-commerce brands (not only agency accounts), you've owned a number and moved it, and you can show us: "I took ROAS from X to Y at €Z spend"
You make your own creatives: portfolio of statics and video ads required (tools: Canva/Figma/Photoshop + CapCut/Premiere or similar; AI tools a plus)
Fluent in performance metrics: ROAS, MER, CPA, CTR, CPM, AOV
Strong written and spoken English
Available 4+ hours/day during 08:00–14:00 CET, reliable internet, own equipment
Ownership mindset: you can tell us in the first interview what your first 90 days would look like, without us spoon-feeding you

Not a fit if:
You've only ever optimized other people's accounts at an agency and never lived with the consequences of your own decisions
You talk in frameworks and buzzwords but can't give specific examples with real numbers
You need daily direction to get moving
You can't commit to the CET overlap hours

What we offer
Competitive salary + monthly performance bonuses tied to targets you control
Paid via Wise, always on time
Direct line to the founder, real ownership, no bureaucracy
Growth path: as the account scales, you build and lead your own team of editors/designers
Long-term stability: we hire slowly and carefully because we want you here for years

How to apply

Our process is focused: two interviews and a short test case (2–4 hours). First call is an introduction — at the end you'll receive the test case. In the second call we review your work together. If a high bar excites you, apply with:

Your portfolio (link) — must include ads you made yourself
One specific result: account, budget, what you changed, what happened to the numbers
Start your application with the word "BM" so we know you read this far

We reply to every application that follows these three steps.
