We are committed., a boutique creative agency in Australia. We produce paid social ad creative for e-commerce, service and lifestyle brands. Our editors turn raw phone and camera footage into Meta ads that actually convert.
We are looking for one reliable editor to join our existing team on an ongoing, per-video basis.
WHAT YOU WILL EDIT
Around 15 videos a month, split into two types:
* Simple edits: single-take talking head or UGC clip, trimmed, captioned, music, brand end card. Usually 15 to 30 seconds.
* Advanced edits: multi-clip ad builds. Hook variations, b-roll layering, text overlays and kinetic captions, sound design, product beauty shots, occasional light motion graphics. Usually 20 to 45 seconds.
Everything is vertical 9:16 for Meta. You will get a written brief, the concept it was filmed for, and the raw footage in Google Drive.
WHAT YOU GET PAID
* Paid per finished video, with a higher rate for advanced edits
* Paid weekly via Wise
* Rate reviewed after 3 months. Editors who nail our style first time get first pick of work as we grow.
This suits someone who wants a stable, low-drama client alongside other work, not someone who needs a full-time wage from one employer. Volume grows as we sign clients, and we promote from within.
YOU MUST HAVE
* 2+ years editing short-form vertical video, with paid social or UGC ads in your portfolio
* Premiere Pro or CapCut Pro (After Effects a bonus)
* A machine that handles 4K without crawling, and stable internet for large Drive uploads
* Strong written English and the ability to read a brief and follow it exactly
* Turnaround of 48 hours per video, and the discipline to flag early when you cannot hit it
NICE TO HAVE
* You understand why a hook works, not just how to cut it
* Experience with Meta ad specs, aspect ratios and safe zones
* You have made ads that were tested against each other and can talk about what won
HOW TO APPLY
Start your reply with the word HOOKLINE so we know you read this.
Then send:
1. Two links to vertical ads you personally edited. Tell us which parts were your work.
2. Your average turnaround for an advanced edit.
3. What software you use and your computer specs.
4. In one sentence: what makes a Meta ad hook stop the scroll?
Shortlisted applicants get one paid test edit at the advanced rate, using real footage from a live client.
