JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dedicated, RELIABLE short form video editor that can work with our talented team and bring science to life! You will cut single-take talking-to-camera footage into fast, funny science videos. Our reels regularly pass a million views, so this is work you'll want in your portfolio!

Quick turnaround work, 48 hours per video. We are looking to build a permanent team. You'll start with one paid video, and if we feel that you're a good match, there's steady ongoing work and longer-form projects.

WHAT YOU'RE MAKING
9:16, 1080p, under 90 seconds
Captions on screen the whole way through
Meme images and b-roll cut over the footage
Delivered as an MP4

Recently covered topics: caffeine blocking adenosine receptors, chromosome pairs, clownfish family structure, bed bug biology. Some videos need a simple animation, something like a molecule binding to a receptor or a labeled diagram. Not 3D, just clear.
