JOB OVERVIEW

We're hiring two part-time meme content creators who are deeply fluent in US internet culture and can spot strong cultural moments quickly and consistently.

The core skill is recognizing what is funny, notable or gaining attention, understanding why people care, and turning that moment into a natural Moodscore idea. We need a high volume of good selections and ideas. We can teach our templates, production style and editing workflow; you should already bring the cultural judgment.

ABOUT MOODSEARCH
Moodsearch helps people check in on how they're feeling and understand their everyday moods. Our content uses relatable situations, reactions and cultural references, with Moodscore graphics that support the joke or emotional shift. We provide product guidance, examples, templates and feedback.

THE WORK
- Find relevant moments across US memes, creators, streamers, sports, entertainment and everyday internet conversations. Bring strong picks in frequent, concise batches.
- Explain what happened, why the moment matters to the audience and what makes the particular expression, reaction or reference useful.
- Connect selected moments to a clear Moodscore premise: a mood shift, relatable situation, contrast or sequence. Recognize when the connection feels forced and pass on it.
- Find the original context and usable source material. Distinguish a current moment from an older clip resurfacing, and flag missing context or material we need permission to use.
- Turn approved ideas into simple meme videos or carousels using our templates and guidance. Basic production skills are enough to start; a polished editing portfolio is optional.
- Apply feedback across the next batch so we can increase useful output with less back-and-forth.

WHAT GOOD JUDGMENT LOOKS LIKE
A smile disappearing can carry an immediate mood change. A familiar reaction can express the anxiety of a particular text message. Different images of the same public figure can capture distinct Monday moods. The valuable choice is finding the right moment and a connection the audience understands immediately. Knowing a name or copying a trending format is only the starting point.

Moodscore graphics should fit the story. These creative references do not establish a featured person's actual mood, score or product use.

WHO THIS FITS
- You already follow US internet culture and can explain references beyond saying "it's viral."
- You can repeatedly find strong material and turn it into concise, usable ideas at a fast pace.
- Your English captions sound natural, and you can distinguish a sharp joke from a forced or outdated one.
- You're organized, responsive and willing to improve your production skills.
- Applicants must be 18 or older. You do not need a following or an on-camera presence. Our team handles account setup, warm-up, publishing and community management.

PAY AND WORKLOAD
- Shortlisted applicants start with one paid hour at US$6–$8, with the exact rate and brief agreed before starting. This first task tests cultural selection and Moodscore ideas; no finished video or carousel is required.
- We review that first task before agreeing any further paid work. Any additional task has its own agreed scope, time allowance and pay. Trial work is paid regardless of the hiring decision. There is no automatic multi-day or weekly commitment.
- If we continue into regular weekly work: guaranteed base of US$60–$80 per week for the agreed work, up to 10 hours per week, paid weekly. Your weekly rate and scope are agreed before that stage begins.
- Research, idea development, onboarding, production, file preparation and agreed revisions all fit within the paid hours.
- This is a high-volume workflow. During the first paid assignments, we establish realistic batch targets and turnaround, then assess the number of useful selections and ideas, their relevance, and how much correction they need.
- Finishing the agreed workload in fewer hours does not reduce the weekly base. Pay is not conditional on views. Extra scope and pay are agreed before work starts.

TO APPLY
Apply through OnlineJobs.ph with:
1. Share two recent cultural moments or memes and one older reference you already know well. Briefly explain the context and why people connect with each. Existing links, saved posts or descriptions are enough; no new research is required to apply.
2. Any relevant meme, content or editing work you've made, if available. Tell us your contribution. Strong reference selections and explanations matter more than production polish.
3. Your weekly availability, tools you're comfortable with and expected rate for the stated scope.

No custom unpaid video, carousel or Moodsearch campaign concept is required to apply. We test the Moodscore connection and working pace in paid assignments. We agree payment details, deliverables, revision scope and content-use rights before work starts.
