Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Professional (Physician or highly experienced Nurse) to join our team as a New Patient Coordinator. This role is critical in ensuring our clinical workflow runs smoothly by preparing patient charts and managing the initial intake process.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Record Review: Thoroughly review incoming patient records, history, and lab results 2–3 days prior to scheduled appointments.
Chart Updating: Summarize key findings and update our EMR system to ensure the treating physician has the most current information ready.
Patient Coordination: Act as the first point of contact for new patients, explaining our process and gathering necessary documentation. Will also update the charts with the necessary information closer to the appointment.
Appointment Scheduling: Manage the calendar to book and confirm appointments for new patients.
Data Integrity: Ensure all patient information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Requirements
Medical Degree or equivalent clinical experience.. May be considered depending on experience
Previous experience with EMR/EHR systems.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace.
