-ABOUT THE ROLE-
Cabana is looking for a Medical Writer with strong copywriting instincts who can turn complex medical and wellness information into content that is accurate, credible, clear, and engaging.

You’ll write articles, educational content, website and treatment pages, product information, email, and other customer-facing materials.

This is not a purely academic writing role. We need someone who can make medical information compelling and accessible while maintaining accuracy and responsible health claims.

Cabana sits at the intersection of science, wellness, and luxury. Our content should feel sophisticated and approachable, never overly clinical.

-WHAT YOU'LL DO-
• Research and write medical and wellness content for consumer audiences.
• Write copy that educates, builds trust, and supports conversion without unsupported claims.
• Translate complex medical concepts into clear, accessible language.
• Research using credible sources and fact-check health-related claims.
• Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, tone, and readability.
• Adapt content across different formats and audiences.
• Work with marketing and creative teams to maintain Cabana's brand voice.

-WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR-
• 2+ years of medical, healthcare, scientific, or health/wellness writing experience.
• Strong portfolio of medical or evidence-based wellness content, ideally including consumer-facing copy.
• Strong copywriting instincts and excellent written English.
• Strong research, fact-checking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to distinguish evidence-based information from unsupported health claims.
• Comfortable working independently, meeting deadlines, and receiving feedback.
• Clinical background is highly desirable, particularly as a licensed pharmacist or physician.
• BONUS: Experience in telehealth, pharmaceuticals, medical aesthetics, wellness, nutrition, women's health, weight management, or other regulated health industries.
