JOB OVERVIEW

Medical Billing Virtual Assistant – Personal Injury Law Firm

We are a growing personal injury law firm seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Subrogation Virtual Assistant to support our medical billing and insurance operations team.

This role focuses on tracking medical balances, reviewing insurance/subrogation records, and ensuring billing information is accurate before case settlement.

Key Responsibilities

-Send Letters of Representation (LORs) to medical providers and insurance companies

-Follow up with medical providers to confirm receipt and obtain balance statements

-Review medical bills and ledgers for errors or discrepancies

-Track health insurance subrogation claims and liens

-Identify duplicate or unrelated charges

-Update balances and records in our case management system

-Maintain organized notes and documentation

-Escalate complex billing issues to senior tea ---------- mbers

Qualifications:

-Experience in medical billing, insurance processing, or healthcare administration

-Familiarity with EOBs, insurance terminology, and medical claims

-Strong attention to detail

-Comfortable working with numbers and verifying balances

-Strong written English and professional communication skills

-Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently

Preferred:

-Experience with personal injury cases

-Experience reviewing medical balances or lien tracking

Work Schedule:

-Full-time

- $5/Hr+ bonus

-Must be able to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time

-Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment required
