We’re looking for an experienced Media Buyer who builds clean Meta and Google campaigns, owns tracking end to end, and keeps improving every step from ad click to qualified lead.
AV Marketing Inc. is a boutique paid ads and creative strategy agency in the Greater Toronto Area. Since 2019, we have run Meta and Google campaigns for premium, established businesses: private schools, education brands, and established coaching companies. Our work is measured in qualified leads and enrollments.
If you have managed Meta and Google Ads accounts for multiple clients, know your way around Google Tag Manager, and like fixing what breaks between the ad and the CRM, this role is built for you.
This role requires hands-on Meta Ads and Google Ads experience across multiple accounts. Applications without it will not be considered.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will own campaign execution and the full conversion path across our client accounts: campaign builds, tracking, landing pages and CRM. You build and launch campaigns on Meta and Google, monitor performance daily, make sure every conversion is tracked accurately, and optimize the funnel so more clicks turn into qualified leads. You work alongside our Client Account Manager, who owns client relationships and the creative pipeline, and you report to Aashima Verma, the CEO.
What makes this role different: This role has no client-facing responsibilities. You will not be on client calls or in client
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Campaign builds and launches (Meta and Google)
- Build and launch Meta campaigns
- Conduct keyword research and build Google campaign structures aligned with client goals
- Set up audiences, placements, budgets and bidding for each client’s goals
- QA every campaign before launch using our documented checklist
Tracking and measurement
- Set up and maintain tracking across platforms: Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads conversions, Meta Pixel, Conversions API and UTMs
- Audit tracking on new and existing accounts, and confirm conversions fire correctly before every launch
- Troubleshoot tracking issues, including missing or duplicate conversions, broken tags, attribution gaps, and mismatches between ad platforms and the CRM
- Keep tracking documentation current for each account
Landing pages, CRM and funnel optimization
- Build and update landing pages and opt-in pages
- Optimize landing pages for conversion by testing headlines, layout, forms and offers
- Set up and manage CRM integrations, lead routing, pipelines and automations so every lead is captured and followed up correctly
- Review the full path from ad click to lead to booked call or enrollment, and fix the points where people drop off
Monitoring and optimization
- Monitor performance daily across Meta and Google, including spend pacing, CPL, CPA, ROAS, frequency and lead quality
- Optimize budgets, audiences, keywords, bids and creative rotation to improve results
- Run structured A/B tests on creative, audiences, keywords and offers, and document what you learn
- Troubleshoot account issues: disapproved ads, delivery problems, and account or billing restrictions
- Identify opportunities to scale winning campaigns
Reporting and performance insights
- Build and maintain performance reports and dashboards for each account
- Prepare internal performance summaries for the Account Manager and CEO: what happened, why, and what you recommend next
- Flag creative fatigue early and recommend what new creative is needed
- Keep Asana tasks, campaign naming conventions and tracking sheets clean and current
- Stay current on Meta and Google platform changes and best practices
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Required experience: 3+ years of hands-on Meta Ads and Google Ads management, ideally at an agency managing multiple client accounts
- Strong platform skills: you can build campaigns from scratch in Ads Manager and Google Ads, structure accounts cleanly, and work with current best practices on both platforms
- Tracking expertise: hands-on with Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads conversions, Meta Pixel and Conversions API. You have diagnosed and fixed broken tracking yourself and can explain how you found the problem
- Landing page and CRO experience: you have built landing pages in common page builders and improved their conversion rates
- CRM experience: you have set up and managed CRM integrations, pipelines and automations
- Proven results: you can show CPL, CPA or ROAS improvements on accounts you managed
- Analytical: you read the data, find the cause, and act on it
- Clear written communicator: you explain performance and recommendations to the team in plain language
- Organized and independent: you manage several accounts at once, follow systems, and meet deadlines without being chased
- Major bonus: experience running ads on other platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok or Pinterest
- Big bonus: lead generation experience with private schools, education brands or coaching businesses
- Also a plus: Google Ads certification or Meta Blueprint certification
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF...
- You have not managed both Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts hands-on
- You have never set up or troubleshot conversion tracking yourself
- You want a client-facing role. This one is focused on execution and optimization
- You prefer to launch campaigns and check in occasionally. Our accounts need daily attention
- You cannot work full-time fixed hours, Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm Eastern Time
- You are looking for a short-term gig until something else comes along
WHAT WE OFFER
- 100% remote
- A small, senior team with clear ownership: the Account Manager runs the client side and the creative pipeline, you run execution, tracking and the funnel, and our editors and designers produce the assets
- No client calls, so your time goes into the accounts
- Documented SOPs for campaign builds, QA and reporting, so you are not building the plane while flying it
- A long-term role with a team you will love
