JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview

WR Builders Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Matterport, CAD, and Revit Specialist to support our growing construction and design team. This role is critical in translating real-world site conditions into accurate digital models, drawings, and construction documents.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in 3D scanning (Matterport), AutoCAD drafting, and Revit modeling, and understands residential construction workflows, including renovations, additions, and new builds.

Key Responsibilities
1. Matterport & Site Documentation
Perform or process Matterport scans of project sites
Convert scans into accurate floor plans and as-built drawings
Extract measurements, dimensions, and spatial data for estimating and design
Maintain organized digital records of all scanned properties
2. CAD Drafting (AutoCAD)
Produce detailed 2D drawings, including:
Existing conditions (as-builts)
Demolition plans
Proposed layouts
Construction details
Update drawings based on field conditions and team feedback
Ensure all plans meet USA building codes and standards
3. Revit Modeling (BIM)
Develop 3D Revit models from Matterport scans and CAD files
Create:
Floor plans
Elevations
Sections
3D visualizations
Coordinate models with architects, engineers, and project managers
Maintain organized BIM standards and file structures
4. Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with:
Project Managers (PMs)
Assistant Project Managers (APMs)
Designers
Estimators
Support pre-construction and design phases with accurate documentation
Assist in value engineering by identifying design conflicts early
Qualifications
Proven experience with:
Matterport (or similar 3D scanning tools)
AutoCAD (advanced level)
Revit (intermediate to advanced)
Strong understanding of:
Residential construction (kitchen, bathroom, additions, ADUs)
Construction drawings and terminology
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with general contractors or design-build firms
Knowledge of USA building codes and permitting processes
Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software
Familiarity with estimating or takeoffs is a plus
Work Structure
Full-time or part-time (flexible based on experience).
Candidates who include:
