JOB OVERVIEW

Marketplace Performance Manager

About Us: Picster is one of the world's fastest-growing travel photography companies, operating in almost 100 destinations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and beyond. Every day we help travellers capture proposals, honeymoons, family holidays and other unforgettable ---------- nts. As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys improving things. Someone who's naturally curious, loves understanding customers and gets satisfaction from making good products even better.

About the Role:

This isn't a customer support role. It's a performance role.

Your job is to make sure our experiences perform as well as they possibly can across every marketplace.

You'll be responsible for increasing reviews, understanding customer behaviour, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping every new city launch get off to the strongest possible start.

You'll spend your time looking at what's working, what isn't, speaking to customers, analysing feedback and working with the rest of the team to make improvements.

If you enjoy spotting patterns, solving problems and making a measurable difference, you'll love this role.

What You'll Be Doing:

Grow our reviews - Reviews are one of the biggest drivers of our business.
You'll own our review acquisition strategy across Airbnb, GetYourGuide, Viator and other platforms.

That means:

Finding new ways to encourage customers to leave reviews

Testing different follow-up strategies

Tracking what's working and what isn't

Looking at review performance across different cities

Sharing ideas that help us continuously improve

This isn't about sending more reminders.

It's about understanding why customers choose to leave reviews and creating experiences that naturally encourage them to do so.

Help new cities succeed: Whenever we launch a new city or experience, you'll be involved from day one.

You'll work with our Expansion and Operations teams to make sure everything is ready before the first customer arrives.
After launch, you'll monitor how things are going, speak to customers, collect feedback and work with the team to make improvements quickly. We want every new city to improve week after week, and you'll play a big part in making that happen.

Become the voice of our customers

You'll spend a lot of time listening.

Reading reviews.

Talking to customers.

Looking for trends.

Trying to understand why people loved an experience - or why they didn't.

When you notice something, we don't want it sitting in a spreadsheet, we want you to work with the relevant team to fix it. Work across the business.. You'll regularly work with:

Operations
Expansion
Photographer Management
Customer Success
Post Production
Management

Your role is to connect customer feedback with action.

Sometimes that might be improving a meeting point.

Sometimes it might be changing a photographer briefing.

Sometimes it might be identifying a process that's causing unnecessary frustration.

What Success Looks Like:

This role has clear goals, some of the KPIs include:

- Increase marketplace reviews from XX to YY by DATE
- Achieve agreed review acquisition targets across every platform
- Improve review conversion rates month after month
- Ensure every new city launch starts strongly and continues to improve
- Identify trends before they become problems
- Deliver practical recommendations that improve customer satisfaction
- We're not interested in reports that simply explain what went wrong.
- We're looking for someone who enjoys finding solutions.

What We're Looking For:

We're much more interested in mindset than experience.
You'll probably enjoy this role if you:
Naturally ask questions
Like solving problems
Notice details that other people miss
Enjoy speaking to customers
Are organised and proactive
Like turning data into action
Are comfortable making decisions
Write excellent English
Use AI tools to work more efficiently
Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
Experience in customer experience, hospitality or marketplace management is helpful, but it's not essential.

Why Join Picster?

- You'll have genuine ownership from day one.
- If you have a good idea, we'll encourage you to test it.
- If you find a better way of doing something, we'll implement it.
- We're a growing business, which means you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact rather than simply following processes that someone else created.
- If you enjoy improving businesses, making customers happier and seeing the results of your work, we'd love to hear from you.
