JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a high-level Marketing Strategist for our performance marketing agency.

This is not a basic VA role.
This is not just a content or creative role.
This is for someone who understands marketing strategy as a whole — from angles and ad concepts to funnels, lead forms, conversion flow, and follow-up logic.

You will work closely with:

our founders
our media buyer
our creative designer
and sometimes directly with clients

Your job is to look at the full marketing system and improve it.

That means understanding:

what offer should be pushed
what angle should be tested
what message fits which audience
where the funnel is breaking
and what should be changed next

We mainly work with SaaS and some e-commerce brands.

What you’ll do
Develop marketing angles, campaign concepts, and testing hypotheses
Turn market research and competitor insights into clear strategic direction
Help shape offers, messaging, and funnel positioning
Connect ads to the right funnel stage and customer awareness level
Review performance data with our media buyer and d ---------- what to iterate next
Guide our creative designer with clear strategic input
Analyze competitor ads, funnels, positioning, and messaging
Spot whether the problem is in the ad, hook, offer, landing page, lead form, funnel logic, or follow-up
Monitor funnel performance and identify drop-off points
Improve lead form logic and qualification flow
Review campaigns and funnels before launch
Translate data and observations into a clear action plan

Requirements

You must have strong experience with most of the following:

Marketing strategy
Funnel strategy
Offer positioning
Messaging and angle development
Direct-response thinking
Competitor research
Ad strategy
Landing page logic
Lead form logic
Conversion flow analysis
Performance analysis and iteration
Working with designers and media buyers
Client communication
Strong bonus if you have experience with:
SaaS marketing
B2B lead generation
E-commerce direct response
Meta ads
Sales funnels
WhatsApp or follow-up flows
Diagnosing lead quality issues
Improving conversion rates across the funnel
Who is not a fit

This is not for you if:

you only know graphic design
you only know copywriting
you only know media buying
you need step-by-step instructions all the time
you cannot explain why a strategy should work
you only suggest “test more creatives” without deeper thinking
you do not understand funnels and conversion logic
What we care about most

We do not want average.
We want someone who can think like a strategist.

You should be able to answer questions like:

What is the real bottleneck in this funnel?
Is the issue the ad, the offer, the lead form, or the follow-up?
What should we test first, and why?
Which competitor patterns are worth reacting to?
What message fits this audience best?
Where in the customer journey are we losing people?
Communication

You must have:

excellent English
strong written communication
clear strategic thinking
confidence in giving recommendations

Hours

Flexible depending on fit, but we are looking for someone long-term who can become an important part of our team.

Pay

$9–$18/hour, depending on experience and level.

We will pay more for someone who is truly strong.
