Marketing and Customer Growth Lead
CoinPort Exchange,
Remote, Philippines based. Full time.
Grow a regulated Australian crypto exchange from the ground up. You own the creative and the results. Our compliance team signs off before anything goes live, because that is what being regulated means.
- 100% work from home, no commute ever
- 36 hours a week, not the usual 48
- Every second Friday off, so a long weekend every fortnight
ABOUT COINPORT
CoinPort is an AUSTRAC registered Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) based in Melbourne, Australia. We run a regulated AUD crypto exchange, built to do things properly in a space that often doesn't.
We are a lean team that takes compliance seriously. We need someone to take marketing off the founders' plates and turn it into a real growth engine, starting in Australia. A move into the Philippines may follow later, subject to local licensing.
Everyone here runs their own station. There is no hand holding and no bureaucracy. If a blank canvas excites you rather than worries you, keep reading.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
The role is roughly 80% marketing and 20% customer contact. You report to our Operations Manager and work closely with our CEO on marketing direction.
Marketing (about 80%)
- Marketing strategy for the Australian market, with you setting the direction
- Paid ads on Google, Meta and crypto relevant platforms, managing your own monthly budget
- Social media end to end: content calendar, copy, design briefs, scheduling and community replies
- On camera video: explainers, promos and social reels
- Brand consistency across every CoinPort touchpoint
- Tracking results, cutting what doesn't work and reporting weekly
- Preparing every ad and post for compliance review before it goes live
Customer contact (about 20%)
- Chat and phone support for Australian customers
- Welcoming new users and walking them through onboarding and identity checks
- Following up with people who get stuck partway through signup
Talking to customers every day is the best market research you will get.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN 90 DAYS
- A marketing plan for Australia, agreed with the CEO
- Google and Meta ad accounts approved for crypto advertising and running live campaigns
- A steady weekly posting rhythm across our main social channels
- At least four short videos published, with you on camera
- A weekly report covering signups, verified users and first deposits
- Faster onboarding, with fewer new users stalling before their first deposit
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent spoken and written English. You will be on camera and on the phone with Australian customers.
- Confident on camera, and able to explain crypto clearly to a first time buyer
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone
- Able to run ads and social campaigns without an agency
- A genuine interest in crypto, fintech or financial services. You don't need to be a trader, but you need to care about the space.
- Self directed, with a track record of owning something and growing it
- Happy working in a small team where everyone has a wide remit
- Bonus: experience marketing to Filipino audiences

HOW TO APPLY
We read every application. Send these four things to
1. A 60 to 90 second intro video in English. Tell us who you are, why crypto marketing interests you, and show us your camera presence. A simple selfie video is fine. If you speak Tagalog, a second version in Tagalog is a welcome bonus.
2. Your best marketing work. Links to campaigns, social accounts you've managed, content you've made, or results you're proud of. Any industry counts. If you've grown your own following, share that too.
3. A time marketing made a real difference. What was the situation, what did you do, and what happened as a result?
4. Your CV. What you've built and shipped matters more to us than a degree from years ago.
Applications without the video or the written answer won't progress. That's not us being strict. This role is communication first.
What happens next: shortlisted applicants are invited to a video call, followed by a short paid task and a final interview with the founders.
