JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:

I'm Lane, founder of Lane Business Solutions and a Certified AI Consultant who's trained 2,000+ small business owners. I'm doing the revenue-generating work - consulting, speaking, training - but leaving money on the table because I'm not building the systems that sell while I sleep. That's where you come in.

I need someone who can build funnels, set up automations, handle outbound outreach, and manage the repetitive tasks that keep me up late instead of closing deals.

This starts as a 20-25 hour/week position with clear opportunity to grow to full-time as we scale revenue together.
Primary Responsibilities:
Funnel & Automation Development (50% of role)

Build landing pages and sales funnels for multiple offers (courses, cohorts, digital products)
Set up and manage email automation sequences that nurture leads and convert sales
Create customer journey workflows from lead magnet ? purchase ? onboarding
Implement abandoned cart sequences and post-purchase automations
Manage integrations between platforms (email, CRM, payment processors, scheduling tools)
A/B test pages and sequences to improve conversion rates
Track and report on funnel performance

Outbound Lead Generation & Outreach (25% of role)

Research and build lists of potential clients (small business owners, associations, speaking opportunities)
Send initial outreach emails/DMs using approved templates and strategy
Qualify leads before they reach my calendar
Follow up with warm leads who haven't booked yet
Reach out to past clients for testimonials and referral opportunities
Track outreach metrics and conversion rates

Content Management & Distribution (15% of role)

Repurpose training content into multiple formats for different platforms
Schedule and post content across social media channels
Create graphics for social posts using templates/brand guidelines
Upload video content to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram
Manage content calendar and ensure consistent posting
Monitor and respond to comments/DMs

Administrative Support (10% of role)

Manage calendar and schedule client calls
Handle client onboarding paperwork and setup
Create and send invoices, follow up on payments
Update CRM with lead and client information
Prepare workshop materials and slide decks from outlines
Respond to general inquiries and pre-sale questions

Required Skills:

Experience with marketing automation platforms (GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, Kajabi, or similar)
Proven ability to build landing pages and sales funnels that convert
Understanding of email marketing strategy and customer journey mapping
Experience with B2B outbound outreach and lead qualification
Proficiency with social media scheduling tools
Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar)
Strong written communication (professional and persuasive)
Tech-savvy problem solver who can figure things out independently
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects

Bonus Points:

Experience in the coaching/consulting/online course industry
Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation
Video editing skills
Experience with Shopify
Sales or SDR background

What Success Looks Like:

Funnels are built and converting within first 30 days
Automation sequences running smoothly with minimal oversight
Consistent pipeline of qualified leads from outbound efforts
Content distributed consistently without my involvement
More of my time freed up for revenue-generating activities
Measurable increase in conversion rates and passive sales
When revenue stabilizes at $7K+ monthly, your role expands to 30-40 hours/week

Work Details:

Starting: 20-25 hours per week (flexible, remote)
Growth Path: Scale to full-time (40 hrs/week) as business revenue grows
Must be comfortable working independently with weekly check-ins
Looking for long-term partnership, not a project-based contractor
Need someone who takes initiative and brings solutions, not just waits for instructions
