LEAD THE CREATIVE OPERATION. THEN HELP BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT.
Creative Production is the center of this role at the start. You will manage the editors, own the production system, raise the quality of the work, and make sure strong creative moves from brief to final asset without senior leadership having to manage every detail.
This is not a coordinator role. It is not a virtual-assistant role. We need a Marketing Operations Manager who can operate the day-to-day work and improve the system at the same time.
A NOTE FROM OUR CMO
Before applying, watch this short video from our CMO about the role, its expectations, and what success looks like:
Once Creative Production is stable and you have demonstrated the judgment, leadership, and capacity required, the role will expand into Social Media Operations. That second phase will include the team, publishing, community, creator, affiliate, and channel systems around the content.
Phase 2 is planned to begin 60–90 days after your start date. The exact timing will depend on demonstrated readiness and business needs.
ABOUT VERITAS
Veritas builds complete Starlink Mini deployment setups—mounts, power, cables, cases, and accessories—for consumers, work teams, and government fleets.
We are a growing US company with a small, high-output marketing team in the Philippines. Several team members have grown with the company over the long term. We want the same for this role.
THE DETAILS
• Full-time independent contractor role with fixed monthly compensation of $2,000–$2,500 USD, based on experience, leadership depth, and overall fit—not an hourly position
• Approximately 45–50 hours per week, with the regular work schedule fully aligned with Pacific Time
• Philippine graveyard shift: roughly 11:00 PM–8:00 AM or 12:00 AM–9:00 AM, depending on U.S. daylight saving time
• Fully remote and long-term
• This must be your only job. No part-time employment, side hustles, ongoing freelance clients, or subcontracting
• Occasional weekend availability when production, launches, or publishing require management coverage
• Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, or Laguna required; no regular onsite office days, but occasional in-person meetings may be scheduled
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
At full production, the team aims to produce one long-form video and up to 14 supporting creative assets each week. These may include shorts/reels, static graphics, or carousels and are adapted for distribution across
PHASE 1: LEAD CREATIVE PRODUCTION
• Manage a two-person video-editing team, including their priorities, workload, deadlines, coverage, development, and performance.
• Turn approved priorities into clear production plans, briefs, scripts, storytelling direction, B-roll needs, and deliverables.
• Own the production pipeline: capacity, assignments, dependencies, revisions, blockers, asset readiness, and delivery visibility.
• Review short-form, long-form, ads, thumbnails, static assets, carousels, platform versions, and other creative output.
• Evaluate the full story—not only whether one shot matches one line. Check hooks, pacing, B-roll, demonstrations, captions, CTAs, factual accuracy, brand alignment, and viewer flow.
• Give editors clear, prioritized, actionable feedback and verify that required revisions were completed correctly.
• Use performance findings to identify stronger hooks, packaging, formats, V2/V3 opportunities, and creative tests.
• Build and improve SOPs, review standards, production trackers, asset repositories, AI-assisted QA, and backup coverage.
• Coordinate minor corrections and urgent production support when needed, without turning the role into a primary editing position.
PHASE 2: ADD SOCIAL MEDIA OPERATIONS
Phase 2 is planned to begin 60–90 days after your start date, once Phase 1 is operating reliably and you have demonstrated readiness for the expanded scope. At that point, you will also:
• Manage the current Social Media Moderator and future social media team members.
• Own the publishing calendar, content inventory, platform schedules, launch pushes, and publishing verification across
• Ensure each platform receives the correct version, copy, CTA, description, tags, products, related content, links, and native-platform setup.
• Oversee community, marketing inboxes, important comments and messages, channel presentation, and routine reputation handling.
• Manage routine creator-partnership and affiliate operations, including communication, records, deliverables, logistics, and escalation.
• Own routine UTM, Bitly, campaign-link, profile-link, and destination-verification workflows.
• Review social performance and turn findings into decisions, tests, and coordinated creative recommendations.
• Build and maintain the social department’s processes, AI workflows, reporting, and continuity systems.
HOW THE ROLE FITS
You will report to and work closely with senior marketing leadership. In Phase 1, the video editors report to you. In Phase 2, the Social Media Moderator also reports to you.
You will have authority over routine departmental planning, assignments, quality, coaching, corrections, and process improvements within approved standards. Cross-functional, sensitive, contractual, financial, policy, staffing, reputation, and other material decisions remain with senior leadership.
HOW WE USE AI
Our marketing operation uses AI for context, research, briefs, feedback, quality control, documentation, analysis, automation, and institutional memory.
We want someone who uses AI heavily to improve judgment and execution—not someone who accepts raw output. Sources must be checked. Brand and product accuracy must be protected. What the team learns should improve the next workflow.
YOU'RE A STRONG FIT IF YOU
• Have at least eight years of professional work experience.
• Have at least three years managing teams and direct reports.
• Have at least two years of experience inside a creative or marketing function.
• Have meaningful corporate, in-house, agency, or field-based operating experience—not only freelance, VA, or task-based remote experience.
• Have managed a creative-production pipeline and can explain the team size, volume, process, problems, decisions, and results.
• Are exceptionally strong at storytelling and can diagnose why an edit is technically correct but still wrong for the overall story.
• Hands-on video-editing experience is an advantage, but it is not required. You must be able to direct editors, evaluate their work, and clearly explain what needs to change and why.
• Can coach editors, address recurring mistakes, manage underperformance, and maintain accountability without becoming the bottleneck.
• Take action without waiting for step-by-step direction and consistently look for ways to improve quality, speed, visibility, and continuity.
• Use performance evidence to improve creative work—not only report numbers.
• Use AI daily with structured context, validation, human review, reusable systems, and feedback loops.
• Communicate clearly in conversational American English.
• Can sustain a Philippine graveyard schedule and occasional weekend coverage.
• Reside in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, or Laguna and be willing to attend occasional in-person meetings.
• Have reliable primary internet, a backup connection, and backup power.
• Want one company to grow with for the long term.
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR
• Someone who waits for detailed instructions before acting.
• Someone whose experience is limited to task-based VA work, short freelance engagements, or managing multiple clients.
• A strong individual contributor who does not want to manage, coach, and hold people accountable.
• Someone who reviews only technical editing details but cannot evaluate the complete story and business goal.
• Someone who creates more process without improving output, visibility, quality, or results.
• Someone planning to keep another job, freelance clients, or subcontract any part of the work.
• Someone testing a graveyard schedule for the first time without a credible plan to sustain it.
HOW WE WORK
Clear priorities. Direct feedback. Strong ownership. Problems are raised early. Decisions are documented. The goal is not to look busy. The goal is to build work that performs and an operation that improves.
Our brand voice follows the same standard: short words, short sentences, confident but never salesy. Like a friend who knows the gear.
