JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to own day-to-day execution across two connected growth tracks: trade outreach to custom home builders and architects, and direct-to-consumer demand generation with homeowners.

You'll work closely with the founder to turn a clear growth strategy into consistent daily execution — outreach, content, follow-up, and reporting.

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role suited to someone who's comfortable moving between structured B2B sales development and creative, visual D2C marketing in the same day. You'll have real ownership of pipeline growth from day one.

What You'll Do

Business Development (Builders & Architects)

-Manage and grow our outreach pipeline to custom home builders, architects, and interior designers across four Texas metros, maintaining consistent, disciplined follow-up cadences.
-Build and maintain targeted prospect lists (builders, architecture firms, GCs), researching direct contacts where none exist.
-Send personalized outreach via email and LinkedIn, and represent Slide Fold Systems at industry events, trade shows, and builder association meetings.
-Support the sales process with materials that help close deals — leave-behind kits, case studies, spec sheets, and sample coordination.
-Track every prospect and touchpoint diligently in our lead tracker and flag hot leads to the founder.

Marketing (Homeowners / Brand)

-Own our Instagram and Pinterest presence: plan, shoot/source, design (in Canva), and publish content that shows off our projects and process.
-Manage our Google Business Profile and local SEO presence across all four metros.
-Build and run email nurture sequences and lead magnets that convert website visitors into booked consultations.
-Coordinate with photographers/videographers on active job sites to build our visual content library.
-Pitch completed projects to local press and design publications; support influencer and designer partnerships.

Reporting & Operations

-Maintain a weekly and monthly view of pipeline, content performance, and lead conversion against targets.
-Continuously test and refine messaging, channels, and outreach cadence based on what's actually converting.
-Help manage marketing budget and vendor relationships (ad platforms, listing services, agencies) as the function grows.

What We're Looking For

-5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales — ideally with exposure to both structured B2B outreach and consumer-facing/social marketing.
-Excellent written communication; comfortable writing outreach emails, social captions, and marketing copy in the same week.
-Organized and self-directed — you'll be trusted to run daily outreach and content cadences with minimal oversight.
-Comfortable with (or eager to learn) tools like Gmail/CRM tracking, Instagram/Pinterest business tools, Google Business Profile, and basic ad platforms.
-Proficient in Canva — able to independently design social posts, one-pagers, and other marketing content without relying on an outside designer.
-Experience in home building, architecture, design, luxury goods, or construction-adjacent industries is a strong plus, but not required.
-A genuine interest in design and premium/architectural products — you should be able to speak credibly to builders and homeowners alike.
