Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, insights-driven Marketing & Insights Specialist/Product Manager to join our team. This role will focus on market research, competitive analysis, and brand insights to uncover white space opportunities for product innovation. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the U.S. baby products market, would appreciate if they have had previous experience in the juvenile product industry and/or US product market (Amazon, Target, Walmart, Babylist, etc.), a love for digging into data and trends, and the ability to turn findings into actionable strategies that guide product development and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and synthesize market research, consumer insights, and trend tracking specific to the baby products industry.
• Build detailed competitive analyses to understand strengths, weaknesses, positioning, and pricing of key players.
• Evaluate our brand performance and identify areas for improvement or differentiation.
• Translate findings into clear insights, identifying “white space” opportunities where our brands can lead with innovation.
• Partner with product development and marketing teams to inform new product concepts and positioning strategies.
• Present research and recommendations in compelling, easy-to-understand reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Consumer Insights, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or competitive analysis (CPG or baby products industry a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex findings into clear narratives.
• Creative thinker with a passion for spotting trends and finding new opportunities.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, brand, and leadership teams.
