JOB OVERVIEW

Tradelance is an early-stage tech start-up, so the marketing role will be hands-on and involve a wide range of responsibilities focused on growth and performance.

Could you please briefly let me know your experience with the following areas:

• Social media management and ongoing content posting
• Creating marketing posts, including AI-generated images or short videos
• Graphic design beyond basic Canva (more advanced design tools and layouts)
• Creating email marketing graphics and layouts
Email marketing — including any experience coding email templates (nice to have but not required)
• Running paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn or similar platforms)
• Analysing marketing data and continuously optimising campaigns for performance
• Improving cost per acquisition (CPA) through testing and optimisation
Email outreach campaigns (both trade and client audiences) and improving script performance
• Updating App Store and Google Play screenshots to improve app presentation and conversion
• Working with the operations team to improve outgoing email visuals and content
• Updating seasonal marketing assets such as email signatures or campaigns (e.g. Christmas promotions)
• Creating promotional graphics and helping organise campaigns such as giveaways or community events

Please note the list above is not limited, and the role will involve a wide range of marketing responsibilities as the company grows.

This will also include market research and staying on top of competitors, monitoring what competing platforms are doing, analysing their campaigns, identifying when they adjust their marketing strategies, and ensuring we continually refine our own approach to remain competitive and ahead of the market.

The role requires someone comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment, where priorities can change quickly and the focus is on continuous improvement and measurable growth.

Paid Advertising Experience (Important)
This role will involve managing and optimising paid advertising campaigns. We are looking for someone who has real hands-on experience managing advertising budgets and performance campaigns, not just very small test campaigns.

Applicants should be comfortable analysing campaign performance, testing creatives and audiences, and continuously improving cost per acquisition and overall marketing performance.

Experience with advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads or similar performance marketing platforms is expected.
