Marketing Creative Copy Editor

Pay: Negotiable flat rate per 2-week period (USD), based on experience
Pay Timing: Paid once every 2 weeks. 80 hours per period, agreed upon at hire
Location: Remote (Philippines-based applicants only)

We’re hiring a Marketing Copy Editor to help turn rough ideas, drafts, and AI-assisted copy into polished marketing that sounds human and fits the brand.
This role exists so:
-Copy is clear before it goes live
-Brand voice stays consistent
-Weak headlines and awkward wording get improved
-Creative ideas become finished, usable marketing assets
This is not about writing fancy words.
This is about making marketing copy work.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
-You won’t always be starting from scratch.
-Most of the time, you’ll be improving, editing, rewriting, and polishing the copy so it’s ready to publish.
As a Marketing Copy Editor, you will:
-Edit and improve
-Rewrite rough drafts into cleaner, stronger messaging
-Improve headlines, hooks, subject lines, preview text, and CTAs
-Proofread for grammar, clarity, flow, and readability
-Make copy sound more natural and less robotic
-Follow brand voice guidelines across different ecommerce brands
-Review AI-assisted drafts and make them feel human
-Organize edits, revisions, and updates inside ClickUp
-Meet deadlines and follow creative workflows consistently
-You are not expected to sound overly clever.
You are expected to make copy feel:

This Role Is for Someone Who…
-Has strong written English and grammar skills
-Notices awkward wording and naturally wants to fix it
-Enjoys editing, rewriting, and improving copy
-Can adapt to different brand voices and tones
-Understands basic marketing language and customer psychology
-Can follow creative direction without ego
-Communicates clearly and consistently
