Marketing & Content Operations Manager (Part-Time, Remote)

Overview
We are hiring a Marketing & Content Operations Manager to support two closely connected brands:
• That Social Black Girl (TSBG) — a community-driven lifestyle and events brand
• Founder’s personal brand — content focused on entrepreneurship, creativity, and lifestyle

This role focuses on marketing execution, content operations, and consistency. We’re looking for someone who can think ahead, manage timelines, and execute independently while supporting evolving brand needs.

This is not a filming role. All raw content (videos, photos, and brand assets) will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role will include a mix of responsibilities, with flexibility as priorities evolve:
• Support and execute marketing initiatives for events, launches, and brand campaigns
• Assist with marketing beyond social media, including email marketing and offline promotion research
• Help plan content needs and timelines, including providing filming guidance and deadlines
• Edit and publish content using provided videos and photos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube, carousels)
• Apply existing brand guidelines consistently
• Support newsletter structure and messaging in collaboration with the team
• Manage content schedules and ensure deliverables go out on time
• Communicate progress clearly and meet deadlines
• Support additional marketing or content-related needs as they arise

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in marketing, social media, or content operations
• Strong editing and content-packaging skills
• Comfortable working across multiple platforms
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Strong written communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage changing priorities

Experience with community-focused brands, events, or lifestyle content is a plus.

Role Details
• Hours: 18 hours per week
• Pay: $8/hour
• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Flexible, deadline-driven
