Overview
MOD BIKES is looking for a Marketing Assistant to keep our social channels and creator program running day to day. You'll answer our riders in the comments and DMs, keep our content calendar moving in Later, work with influencers and creators from first outreach to final footage, and make sure our website and sales channels are always accurate. This is a full-time, remote role supporting our Marketing Manager, working a set shift that overlaps U.S. Central Time.
Description
We're looking for a detail-obsessed, social-savvy team player to be the engine behind our marketing team's daily work. You'll be the friendly voice riders hear from online, the go-to person for our creators, and the one who keeps our content organized so our video editors can do their best work. If you love social media, have a great eye for what looks right, and get real satisfaction from a perfectly organized tracker, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
• Responding to comments and DMs across Instagram,
• Moderating the MOD Owners
• Escalating customer service and sales questions to the right team, fast
• Scheduling approved content in Later with the right formatting, tags, and links for each platform
• Reaching out to influencers, affiliates, and creators who fit our target criteria, and sending approved creators their briefs and onboarding materials
• Reviewing incoming creator footage against our visual guidelines (framing, lighting, aspect ratio) and managing any reshoots
• Walking creators through Meta whitelisting so ad permissions get linked correctly
• Keeping our creator tracker up to date — outreach, responses, active campaigns, deliverables — and flagging anything overdue
• Organizing raw creator content into our B-Roll library by bike model, creator, and format, then letting our video editors know in Asana when it’s ready
• Setting up daily video production tasks across our editors’ Asana boards
• Checking our website weekly for outdated promos, banners, and copy
• Auditing product listings across Google, Meta, Reddit, and other sales channels for accurate pricing, availability, and creatives
• Updating SEO — image ALT text and meta titles/descriptions — following our SEO SOP
What We’re Looking For
• Hands-on experience managing comments, DMs, and community for a brand on social media
• Excellent written English — you can be warm, clear, and on-brand in a two-line reply
• Experience scheduling content with Later or a similar tool
• Super organized — trackers, file naming, and task boards are your comfort zone
• A good eye for visuals — you spot bad lighting or the wrong aspect ratio right away
• Comfortable following SOPs, and knowing when something needs to go up the chain
• Available for a full-time, set shift that overlaps U.S. Central Time business hours
• A reliable computer, stable internet, and a quiet place to work
Bonus Points For
• Influencer or affiliate outreach experience
• Meta whitelisting / branded content ad permissions
• Shopify SEO basics (ALT text, meta titles and descriptions)
• Google Merchant Center or Meta Commerce Manager
• DTC or e-commerce brand experience — bonus if it’s bikes, outdoors, or lifestyle
• Basic video or photo editing (CapCut, Canva)
What We Offer
• A stable, long-term, full-time role with a growing U.S. brand
• Competitive pay, based on experience
• Hands-on exposure to every part of a DTC marketing team — social, influencer, creative, and SEO
• A small, tight-knit team that actually listens to your ideas
• Real room to grow into a coordinator or specialist role as MOD BIKES grows
Location
This is a fully remote role, working a set full-time shift that overlaps U.S. Central Time (e.g., 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT).
