JOB OVERVIEW

Hours: Up to 8 hrs/week (part-time, flexible schedule — not a full-time role)

Overview:
We are looking for a remote part-time assistant to manage day-to-day presence on our social media accounts — research, content creation, posting, and light engagement. This is not a strategy or growth-marketing role; we need someone reliable to keep our accounts active and interesting without requiring heavy oversight from us.

What You'll Do:

Research & Topic Development

Scan legal news, legal periodicals, general news, and celebrity/pop-culture stories for angles relevant to personal injury, employment law, and elder abuse
Look at what other attorneys/law firms are posting for content ideas and formats worth adapting
Bring a running list of post ideas/topics for our review or approval

Content Creation

Write social posts (captions, short-form copy) based on approved topics
Develop simple graphics for posts (templates are fine — doesn't need to be original design work)
Light video editing — trimming, captions/text overlays, basic cuts — on video we send over or video you shoot yourself

Posting & Engagement

Post approved content to our accounts on a regular cadence
Monitor comments, DMs, and messages daily; reply to routine ones, flag anything sensitive or case-related for us to handle
Review comments and other accounts' posts for content worth resharing, responding to, or engaging with on our behalf
Maintain a simple content calendar
Send a brief weekly summary (what was posted, engagement notes, topics flagged for review)

Requirements:

Experience managing business social accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
Comfortable researching news/legal topics and turning them into post ideas
Basic writing ability — clear, on-brand captions and short copy
Comfortable with basic graphic tools (Canva or similar) and video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar)
Self-directed — able to work from a content calendar/instructions without heavy oversight
Good judgment on what to respond to, reshare, or escalate
Reliable async communicator

Nice to Have:

Experience with law firm, local service, or personal injury marketing
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite / scheduling tools (Buffer, GoHIghLevel, Later, etc.)
