Marketing Assistant (Remote) — Borrow Well (Adelaide, Australia)
Borrow Well is a growing mortgage broking business based in Adelaide, South Australia. We’re looking for a remote Marketing Assistant to help us produce and distribute content consistently, run simple paid campaigns, and improve our marketing and lead quality through better data and follow-up systems.
What you’ll do
1) Social media content production and publishing
Edit short-form videos for Instagram/TikTok and long-form videos for YouTube.
Add captions, text overlays, simple motion/effects, and polish for platform style.
Create thumbnails and simple graphics (Canva preferred; Adobe optional).
Publish posts and stories daily across our platforms.
Repurpose content (one recording ? multiple clips, formats, and captions).
Maintain a simple content calendar so we stay consistent.
2) Paid ads (Meta)
Turn our best-performing content into Meta ads (Reels/Stories/Feed placements).
Build ad creatives, variations, and basic A/B tests (hooks, thumbnails, captions).
Monitor performance and report weekly on what’s working (CPL, CTR, leads, quality).

Build and maintain automated
Improve conversion and lead quality through better nurture sequences.
Keep messaging clear, simple, and compliant (education-first, no promises).
4) Data and process improvement
Track lead sources and performance by channel.
Identify drop-off points and propose improvements (forms, booking flow, follow-ups).
Provide simple weekly reporting with insights and next actions.
4) Script writing + content ideas
Come up with ideas for new posts and content.
Plan content strategies
Content and business are related is property, mortgages, finance and investment.
Tools we use (or similar)
Canva (required)
Video editing: CapCut / Premiere Pro / Final Cut (any is fine if output quality is strong)

Google Drive + Sheets (required)
What we’re looking for
Strong English writing and editing skills.
Confident video editing with a “social-first” style (tight pacing, strong hooks).
Experience supporting Meta ads campaigns (even small budgets is fine).
Comfortable working to daily output targets and weekly reporting.
High attention to detail and ability to follow a brand style guide.
Bonus (nice to have)
Experience in finance, property, or professional services marketing.
Basic understanding of funnels: lead capture, nurture, booking, conversion.
