Marketing Account Manager & Content Strategist
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, creative, and resourceful Marketing Account Manager & Content Strategist who can take ownership of multiple brands, projects, and campaigns from idea through execution.
This is not a role where someone waits for a list of tasks to complete. We need someone who can look at a brand or business, understand what it is trying to accomplish, identify what needs to happen next, and then help make it happen.
The right person is equal parts marketer, project manager, content creator, copywriter, client/account manager, and problem solver. You should be comfortable switching between writing a social caption, planning a campaign, coordinating a designer, communicating with a client, preparing for an event, reviewing performance, and catching a detail everyone else missed.
You don’t need to be the world's best designer, copywriter, strategist, or project manager individually. You do need to be very good at connecting all of those pieces and keeping things moving.
What You’ll Do
Account & Project Management
Own day-to-day marketing execution for multiple brands and client accounts.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Turn conversations, meetings,
Build and maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, campaign plans, and task lists.
Coordinate with designers, videographers, photographers, agencies, vendors, leadership teams, and other partners.
Follow up on outstanding items and keep projects moving without needing constant reminders.
Review work before it goes to clients or the public and catch inconsistencies, errors, missing information, or opportunities for improvement.
Balance multiple brands, deadlines, and priorities at the same time.
Social Media & Content Strategy

Write social captions that sound human and fit each brand's individual voice.
Create strong hooks, calls to action, video concepts, scripts, and campaign messaging.
Identify opportunities for timely, trend-driven content without forcing brands into trends that don't fit.
Adapt content appropriately for different platforms rather than simply posting identical copy everywhere.
Monitor performance and use results to continually improve future content.

Write and edit:

Understand enough about design to recognize when something looks polished, on-brand, and ready to publish — and when it doesn't.
Video & Short-Form Content
Develop concepts for Reels, TikToks, promotional videos, interviews, and other short-form content.
Write scripts, hooks, shot lists, and creative briefs.
Work with existing photo and video assets to identify opportunities for new content.
Direct creators or team members on what needs to be recorded.

Has strong social media instincts and understands the differences between LinkedIn, Instagram,

The Person Who Will Thrive in This Role
You are probably the person who hears:
"We should probably do something around this."
…and immediately starts thinking:
Who is the audience? What's the hook? What assets do we have? What do we need? Who needs to approve it? Where should we promote it? What's the deadline? And how do we actually get this done?
You're comfortable operating without a perfectly defined roadmap.
You don't just identify problems. You come back with possible solutions.
You don't need someone to tell you every next step. You figure out what the next step should be.
At the same time, you understand that marketing is collaborative. You know when to ask questions, when to bring in an expert, and when something needs stakeholder approval.
Bonus Points
Experience with any of the following is especially valuable:
Agency or multi-client marketing
Aviation or other specialized/B2B industries
Hospitality, restaurants, or local businesses
Conferences and event marketing
Influencer or creator partnerships
PR and media outreach
Paid social advertising
CRM and marketing automation platforms
Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
Airtable or similar project-management/database tools
AI-assisted marketing and creative workflows

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role isn't simply "the posts went out on time."
You'll know you're succeeding when:
Clients trust you to own their marketing.
Projects move forward without leadership constantly checking on them.
Content consistently sounds and looks like the brand it represents.
Designers and creators receive clear direction.
Deadlines and deliverables don't fall through the cracks.
Campaigns have a clear objective instead of existing just to produce content.
You're regularly bringing useful ideas to the team rather than waiting to be assigned them.
Feedback you receive once doesn't need to be repeated five times.
When something unexpected comes up, your first instinct is to figure out how to solve it.
Most importantly, you make the people around you feel like someone has it handled.
