JOB OVERVIEW

**About Us:**

We are a new US-based pet health brand launching a premium, science-backed joint supplement specifically for large breed dogs (German Shepherds, Rottweilers, etc.). Unlike other Amazon sellers who sell generic "white label" products, we formulate heavy-duty, clinical-strength products that solve real pain.

**The Role:**

We are looking for a detailed Market Researcher to build a competitive intelligence report. We do not want a list of links. We want actionable data on our top 5 competitors (Wuffes, Jope, Zesty Paws, etc.) to help us make strategic decisions.

**Your Responsibilities (The 4-Step Battle Plan):**

**1. The "Failure" Analysis (Review Mining)**

* Go to Amazon and Reddit. Analyze the 1-Star and 2-Star reviews of our competitors.
* Do not just copy the reviews. Categorize them.
* Example: How many complaints are about "Bad Smell"? How many are "My dog vomited"? How many are "Didn't work"?
* Goal: Tell us exactly why customers hate the current options so we can fix those issues.

**2. The "Ad Spy" Audit**

* Use the Meta Ad Library (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok Creative Center.
* Find the active ads for our competitors.
* Screenshot their top 3 longest-running ads.
* Write down their "Hook" (The first sentence they use to grab attention) and their "Offer" (e.g., "50% off first bottle").

**3. Ingredient & Dosage Mapping**

* Create a clean Google Sheet comparing our competitors.
* Columns must include: Price per Bottle, Price per Day, and Exact MG counts of active ingredients (Glucosamine, Chondroitin, UC-II, Green-Lipped Mussel).
* Highlight which brands are using "Proprietary Blends" (hiding their dosage).

**4. Traffic Source Check**

* Use free tools (like SimilarWeb) to see where their traffic comes from.
* Do they rely mainly on Amazon search? Or do they get traffic from Email, Social, or Google?

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience researching Amazon FBA products.
* High proficiency in Google Sheets (you must be organized).
* Ability to summarize data (don't just dump information; tell me what it means).
* Bonus: Access to tools like Helium 10 or Jungle Scout (not required, but a plus).

How to Apply:

1. Send a message with the subject line: "TITAN RESEARCH - [Your Name]."
2. In the email, answer this specific question: If a customer complains that a dog chew is too hard, is that a "Palatability" issue or an "Efficacy" issue?
3. Include a link to your portfolio or a screenshot of previous research spreadsheets you have created.
