JOB OVERVIEW

Title: (Finish by Oct 6)

I run Sign Mockup Studio ( ---------- ), software that sign companies use to create photo realistic sign mockups, shop drawings and fabrication files. I'm showing it for the first time at a trade event on October 14 and need the main flows tested before then.

This is a fixed price project. If it goes well, I'll have ongoing testing work after the event.

What you'll test:

1. The core flow: uploading a building photo, placing a sign, the night render, exporting a shop drawing, sharing a mockup with a client, and signing up for a plan. I'll provide a test account and a checklist.
2. The different sign types the app supports, including channel letters, cabinet signs and logo signs, with the lighting and mounting options for each.
3. Logo uploads in SVG, PDF, PNG and JPG, including messy files like low resolution images, logos with text, and multi-color logos. I'll send a folder of test files.
4. Desktop Chrome and Safari, plus an iPhone or Android phone and a tablet if you have one.

For every bug, I need:

1. Steps to reproduce
2. What you expected vs. what happened
3. Browser and device
4. A screenshot or screen recording
5. The file you uploaded, if the bug involves one
6. Severity: does it block the flow, cause wrong output, or is it cosmetic?

Findings go in one shared document that you update as you go, so I can check progress while I'm traveling October 3 to 6.

Timeline: start early next week, finish by October 6.
