About us

We are a US-based safety equipment and PPE distribution company that has been in business for 30 years. We sell high-visibility apparel, FR clothing, and pole line hardware to government agencies, oil and gas companies, and industrial clients.
We are building an automated B2B order processing system and need a skilled ---------- specialist to help us complete it and maintain it long-term. This is a stable, ongoing role with a company that values reliable, quality work.

What the system does
---
When a customer emails us a Purchase Order (PDF), the automation handles everything:
• Extracts order data from the PDF using AI (PDF.co)
• Validates pricing, quantity, and unit of measure against Shopify
• Creates the order in Shopify
• Checks inventory in inFlow
• Creates a Purchase Order in QuickBooks Online
• Emails the supplier and notifies the customer

Tools you must know
---
• ---------- — this is the core tool. You must be experienced, not just familiar.
• QuickBooks Online — creating POs, searching vendors and accounts via ----------
• Shopify — product and inventory queries, ideally GraphQL API
• OpenAI module in ---------- — prompting for classification and normalization
• Google Sheets — used for vendor mapping and tracking
• Gmail — automated email triggers and notifications

What you will work on
---
• Complete the current automation (95% built) — resolve remaining blockers and run end-to-end testing
• Build Scenario 2 — watches for supplier reply emails, classifies them with AI, and routes responses to customers automatically
• Fix bugs and improve reliability as we go live and process real orders
• Work alongside our existing tea ---------- mber who handles day-to-day operations
• Maintain and improve the system over time as the business grows

What we are looking for

• Strong ---------- experience — complex multi-module scenarios, not simple automations
• Experience connecting ---------- to QuickBooks Online API (not just basic integrations)
• Comfortable working with APIs, JSON parsing, variable management, and routers
• Reliable communicator — we need daily updates and clear reporting
• Someone looking for stable, long-term work — not just a quick project
• Can start this week
