Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator

EIG Property Management is a trusted provider of high-quality property management services in the Twin Cities. We manage over 1,400 apartment rental units, offering exceptional living spaces throughout the area.
We are looking for a full-time, permanent remote Maintenance Coordinator. Applicants must have relevant experience in property management, engineering, or maintenance coordination. This is not an agency role, and candidates should not be working another job during our business hours.
Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor incoming maintenance requests
Revise maintenance tickets to conform to standards
Communicate with residents
Gather information from residents and tea
Assess whether the situation is an emergency or non-emergency
Create daily work plans for each maintenance tech
Regular communication with each member of the maintenance team
Coordinate vendors (scheduling projects to meet deadlines)
Call on 50-100 potential new vendors when a new vendor is needed
Coordinate and monitor progress of apartment unit turns to be ready for move-in
Follow up communication with residents
Measure maintenance tech performance
Establish scope of work for projects
Obtain estimates and pricing proposals from vendors
Price shop appliances and other common supplies
Perform administrative work for maintenance staff
Communicate with city inspectors
Review and coordinate city orders and other orders
Download data and complete data entry or analytical tasks

Job Requirements
Excellent English speaking and writing ability.
Intermediate MS Excel or Google Sheets ability.
Strong attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Technology Requirements:
Reliable internet connection and power supply
Dual monitor setup (2 screens required)
10-key keyboard and headset
Quiet and professional work environment during working hours
Work Schedule & Expectations
Expected to work approximately 40–50 hours per week, depending on operational needs
US Central Time hours as scheduled, generally an 8-9 hour day from Monday to Friday between 7:00AM - 3:00PM US Central.
During onboarding and initial training, schedule may vary
A rotating weekend schedule may be implemented based on business needs. Any required weekend work will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
Qualifications:
4-year university degree
Preferred previous experience in property management and maintenance coordination
Preferred experience with Google Workspace, particularly with Google Sheets and/or MS Excel,
