Important: Applications submitted without completing the application form may not be considered.
Please do not submit a generic application.
We are specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate real creative strategy and advertising performance experience.

About the Role
Madam Muse is looking for a Senior Creative Strategist who understands that the goal of creative is not simply to produce more content.
The goal is to make ads that can spend.
You will own the creative strategy and direction behind our advertising pipeline. You will determine what products to promote, which customer avatars to target, which problems and desires to address, which hooks and angles to test, and which creative formats to develop.
You will work with:
- 2 Video Editors
- 1 Graphic/Image Designer
- UGC Creators
- Creative tools and platforms
- Product information and existing creative resources

You will be responsible for directing these resources toward concepts that can be produced, tested, measured, improved, and scaled.

The Core Objective
Our creative performance cycle is:
Concept → Production → Launch → Test → Spend → Performance → Iteration → More Spend
The Strategist is expected to continuously operate this cycle.

We are looking for someone who can answer:
- What should we test next?
- Why should we test it?
- Which customer should we target?
- What hook should we use?
- What problem/desire should we focus on?
- Should this be UGC, static, VSL, AI creative, testimonial, product-focused, or another format?
- What should the editor/ designer/creator actually produce?
- What does the performance data tell us?
- Should we iterate, scale, revise, or kill the concept?

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Creative Strategy
You will determine:
- Products and offers to promote
- Customer avatars
- Pain points, desires, and problems
- Creative angles
- Hooks
- Formats
- Concepts to develop
- Concepts to revise or abandon
- Opportunities for new creative testing

2. Creative Team Direction
- You will directly guide:
- 2 Video Editors + 1 Graphic Designer
- Your responsibilities include:
- Assigning creative concepts
- Providing briefs and references
- Giving clear creative direction
- Reviewing completed work
- Requesting revisions
- Prioritizing important creative tests
- Ensuring assets are actually ready for testing
- The Strategist owns the creative direction while the production team executes the assets.

3. UGC & Creator Direction
You will determine:
- Type of creator
- Demographic
- Customer avatar
- Situation
- Script
- Talking points
- Product demonstration
- Hook
- Required scenes/footage
- UGC should be requested with a specific advertising purpose rather than simply producing content for the sake of having content.

4. Creative Production
You may develop:
- UGC ads
- Static ads
- AI-generated creatives
- AI voiceover videos
- VSLs
- Product-focused ads
- Problem/solution ads
- Testimonials
- Different avatars
- Different hooks
- Different angles
- Variations of existing concepts
- The role is not restricted to one production format. You are expected to determine what format is most appropriate for the test.

5. Creative Testing & Performance
You will:
- Identify creatives ready for testing
- Monitor performance after launch
- Identify creatives capable of receiving meaningful spend
- Develop variations of promising concepts
- Identify concepts that should be revised or discontinued
- Use performance data to inform future creative decisions
- Continuously develop new concepts

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are not primarily looking for someone who can simply write a large number of briefs.
We want a strategist who can connect:
Customer insight → Creative concept → Production → Testing → Performance → Iteration → Scale

You should have strong experience in:
- Performance marketing creatives
- Meta/Facebook advertising
- E-commerce advertising
- Direct-response creative strategy
- UGC advertising
- Creative testing
- Ad hooks and angles
- Customer avatars
- Creative performance analysis
- Managing/directing creative teams
- Turning winning concepts into variations
- Understanding why an ad works or fails
- Strong candidates should be able to show:
- Actual evidence of performance, not just a portfolio of visually attractive creatives.

For example:
- Ads they developed that received significant spend
- Winning creative concepts
- Before/after creative iterations
- Testing frameworks
- Examples of failed creatives and what they learned
- Ad account or campaign performance they directly influenced
- Examples of scaling a winning concept
- How they worked with editors, designers, and UGC creators

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The primary result is:
- Ads That Can Spend
- Creative quantity alone is not the primary KPI.

A smaller number of strong creatives that generate meaningful advertising spend can be more valuable than a large number of creatives that never receive meaningful spend.

The role will be evaluated on areas including:
- Ad spend generated by their creatives
- Creatives successfully entering testing
- Creatives continuing to receive spend
- New concepts developed
- Successful iterations
- Testing consistency
- Quality of creative direction
- Effective use of the creative team
- Speed of developing/testing concepts
- Ability to learn from performance data
- Ability to continuously produce creatives capable of supporting more spend

COMPENSATION
Starting Base: $2,500 USD/month
Performance Bonus: 2% of total ad spend generated by the Strategist's creatives.
For example:
$100,000 attributed ad spend → $2,000 bonus
$500,000 attributed ad spend → $10,000 bonus
The exact methodology for attributing ad spend to the Strategist's creatives will be documented and agreed upon before the compensation structure is finalized.
