Do you instinctively know how to stop the scroll? Can you turn raw footage into high-converting META ad creatives that actually generate leads, tours, and revenue—not just views? Do you understand pacing, hooks, subtitles, b-roll, emotional tension, and direct response editing?

We’re looking for a world-class META Ads Video Editor to help create and iterate high-performing ad creatives for commercial real estate, local businesses, and service brands.
This is not a “make it look pretty” editing role.
This is a performance marketing role.

At MAZ, we run aggressive paid media campaigns designed to generate real-world business results. Your edits will directly influence CTR, CPL, lead quality, and conversion rates.
You’ll work closely with media buyers, operators, and leadership to rapidly test creative angles, hooks, offers, and messaging across META platforms.

If you obsess over retention curves, understand why one hook wins over another, and love producing fast-moving direct response creatives, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities
Edit short-for ---------- TA ad creatives optimized for Facebook and Instagram
Create multiple hook variations from the same raw footage
Add dynamic subtitles, overlays, zooms, transitions, and motion graphics
Source and insert relevant b-roll to improve retention and pacing
Create attention-grabbing first 3 seconds designed to stop the scroll
Edit UGC-style, talking head, testimonial, and property walkthrough videos
Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form ad variations
Collaborate with media buyers to iterate creatives based on performance data
Organize creative assets, versions, naming structures, and exports
Deliver creatives quickly while maintaining quality and consistency
Follow direct response frameworks and ad scripting structures
Optimize videos for mobile-first viewing behavior
Create thumbnail variations and visual hooks
Continuously improve editing systems, workflows, and SOPs

Tech Stack You’ll Need to Know:
Kapwing
Submagic
Canva
CapCut
ElevenLabs

Bonus Points
Experience editing META ads for lead generation businesses
Experience with commercial real estate or local service businesses
Understanding of media buying KPIs (CTR, CPC, CPL, CAC)
Experience creating UGC-style ad creatives
Motion graphics experience
Familiarity with ad libraries and competitor research
Experience working directly with media buyers
Basic copywriting instincts for hooks and CTAs

About Us
At MAZ, we manage retail real estate with systems, speed, and service. We believe the future of property management is lean, tech-enabled, and proactive—not reactive. Our team runs fast, expects excellence, and deeply values ownership. If that sounds like your style, you’ll fit right in.

Interested?
Why are you a great fit for this role?
What META ads or short-form content have you edited before?
What’s your process for improving weak-performing creatives?
Show us 2–3 ads or edits you’re proud of
What makes a great hook in the first 3 seconds?

Please send a Loom Video to ---------- We are looking for editors who understand that creative is the targeting now.
