JOB OVERVIEW

We are an active acquirer focused exclusively on the homecare and home health industry. We are looking for a sharp, self-sufficient M&A Financial Analyst to join our team remotely. This person will be responsible for analyzing homecare acquisition targets across our deal pipeline — from initial screening all the way through deep financial analysis and investment recommendation. You will be replacing a full analyst team, so we need someone who can operate independently, move fast, and produce institutional-quality work without hand-holding.

If you live in spreadsheets, get excited about deal flow, and understand what makes a homecare business tick financially, keep reading.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be our go-to analyst for evaluating homecare and home health acquisition targets. You will assess whether deals make financial sense, flag risks, and help leadership make confident, data-backed decisions. You need to own the full analytical process — from pulling data and building models to synthesizing findings into a clear investment thesis tailored to the homecare space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze homecare and home health M&A targets across financial, operational, and strategic dimensions
- Build and maintain detailed financial models including LBO models, DCF analyses, and accretion/dilution analyses
- Perform valuation analysis using multiple methodologies (comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, DCF, LBO)
- Review and normalize target company financials — P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and EBITDA adjustments specific to homecare operations
- Assess payer mix composition (Medicaid, Medicare, MLTC, private pay) and its impact on revenue quality and risk
- Analyze Medicaid reimbursement rates, managed care contracts, and authorization utilization data
- Evaluate operational metrics specific to homecare — caregiver headcount, billable hours, visit volume, EVV compliance, and client census
- Identify key value drivers, risks, and red flags including regulatory exposure, payer concentration, and staffing challenges
- Conduct industry and market research on homecare sector trends, deal comps, and competitive dynamics
- Prepare investment memos, deal summaries, and executive-level presentations for leadership review
- Assist with due diligence by organizing and reviewing financial data rooms and coordinating with advisors
- Track and maintain a deal pipeline with updated status, financials, and notes on each target
- Support LOI and purchase price negotiation by providing financial context and sensitivity analyses
- Work directly with leadership to refine acquisition criteria and target screening frameworks for the homecare sector

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or M&A advisory
- Strong, demonstrable LBO modeling experience — you should be able to build one from scratch, fast
- Proficiency in DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis
- Experience in healthcare services, homecare, home health, or related sectors is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of financial statements and the ability to normalize and adjust EBITDA in a services business context
- Familiarity with homecare payer dynamics — Medicaid, Medicare, MCOs, and MLTC — is a significant advantage
- Experience conducting buy-side due diligence and working through deal processes end to end
- Ability to produce clean, well-structured financial models and executive-ready presentations
- Strong analytical mindset — you cut through complexity and get to the insight quickly
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight in a remote environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Google Workspace a plus
- Experience with PitchBook, Capital IQ, or similar platforms is a strong plus

WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive salary based on experience
- A high-impact role with direct exposure to live homecare deal flow and leadership decision-making
- Long-term, stable remote position with an active acquirer in a growing sector
- Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where your analysis directly drives acquisitions
- Opportunity to grow into a senior analytical or deal leadership role

If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please submit your resume, a brief description of why you believe you would be a good fit for this role, and a short video of you telling us why you are the best and what sets you apart from the others. You must submit a video and you must have the subject line of your application include the phrase: "Your problems are over".
