JOB OVERVIEW

Cloud IX Luxury is a U.S.-based luxury watch and handbag business looking for a reliable, detail-oriented photo editor/retoucher for ongoing work.

The primary responsibility will be editing professional RAW product photographs of luxury watches and handbags for our website, eBay, marketplaces, and social media.

Primary responsibilities:

Edit RAW product photos using Adobe Lightroom / Camera Raw and Photoshop
Correct exposure, white balance, contrast, and color while keeping products true to life
Retouch luxury watches, including polished and brushed metal surfaces, dials, bezels, crystals, bracelets and clasps
Retouch luxury handbags while preserving accurate leather color, texture and hardware
Remove dust, fingerprints, lint and distracting photographic or lighting artifacts
Manage unwanted reflections without making metal look artificial or overly edited
Crop, straighten, resize and export images consistently for web, marketplaces and social media
Maintain a consistent luxury appearance across every product

VERY IMPORTANT: Many of the products we sell are pre-owned. Actual scratches, dents, wear, leather imperfections or other genuine condition issues must NOT be removed or hidden unless specifically instructed. The finished images must accurately represent the product being sold.

Required:

Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw experience
Product photo retouching experience
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work with highly reflective products and metal
Reliable communication and turnaround times
Comfortable working with large RAW image files

Experience editing watches, jewelry, handbags or other luxury products is strongly preferred.

Bonus, but NOT required: Experience editing short-form product videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok or similar platforms using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar software.

This is intended to become an ongoing long-term relationship for the right person. Hours will initially be limited and will grow as our workflow develops.
