JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for someone passionate about clean food & local farms to help build something meaningful

I’m currently building a platform called FarmToLocal — a place where everyday people can easily find fresh, non-toxic food from local sources. ---------- is the demo site.

The vision is to create a platform that:

• Lists local farms
• Helps people find egg producers & raw dairy
• Showcases farmers markets
• Hosts clean food products from trusted producers
• Makes it easy for families to support local agriculture instead of big food corporations

More and more parents are waking up to how toxic much of our food system has become — especially when it comes to our kids. Because of that, I believe there’s a huge opportunity to build something that truly helps people.

What I'm looking for

Someone who would like to help build this project from the ground up. Someone who can grab the bull by the horns and knows what needs to be done in order to make this work.

The role would involve things like:

• Researching local farms and food producers across the USA
• Finding USA-based food products that could be listed on the platform
• Researching social media videos and content we can recreate for our brand
• Helping brainstorm content ideas around healthy food and local sourcing
• Assisting with outreach to farms, farmers markets, and producers
• Helping organize and grow the FarmToLocal directory
• Affiliate marketing experience is a must**
• Ability to create scripts for our video creator to use (simple short form and possible long form)
• Ability to use AI to save time and maintain high efficiency is a must**

Important:
All farms, products, and research should be USA-based. You’ll need to become familiar with American food brands, farms, and producers, and help find content and products that fit within that ecosystem.

The project will be backed by a small digital marketing agency that will handle:

• Website development
• SEO
• Social media marketing
• content production
• growth strategy

We’ve successfully built and marketed farm-related websites before, so the infrastructure and marketing side is covered.

• Cares deeply about healthy food and ingredient transparency
• Supports local farmers and regenerative agriculture
• Is organized and enjoys research and project management
• Understands or is willing to learn about USA food brands, farms, and markets
• Wants to be part of something that could grow into a large movement

Compensation

We’re open to different structures depending on the person.
