JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a talented Thumbnail Maker to join our team and create high-quality visual content for our YouTube channels, both focused on movie and entertainment content.

You’ll be responsible for creating eye-catching, high-converting YouTube thumbnails, while also helping with other visual content such as LinkedIn posts and carousel images.

We have AI tools available that you can use to speed up your workflow, including LoveArt and Google AI Studio. However, we’re looking for someone who has strong design skills and can use Photoshop when thumbnails require additional editing, compositing, or refinement.

Pay:
???? $40–$60 per month with potential for increases based on performance
???? 9 thumbnails per week initially, with more work/channels available based on performance

Responsibilities:
Create high-converting, scroll-stopping YouTube thumbnails for our Youtube channels.
Use LoveArt and Google AI Studio to assist with thumbnail creation and visual concepts.
Edit and refine AI-generated images using Photoshop when needed.
Follow each channel’s established thumbnail style, branding, and visual guidelines.
Create thumbnails that match the topic, title, emotion, and story of each video.
Create visual content for LinkedIn posts and carousel images.
Collaborate with the team to improve designs and ensure content matches our creative direction.
Deliver final files in the correct size, format, and quality.
Organize thumbnail files and other visual assets properly in Google Drive.

Requirements:
Proven experience creating YouTube thumbnails.
Good Photoshop skills — this is important as some thumbnails will require manual editing.
Good understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, contrast, and text readability.
Experience using AI image/design tools such as LoveArt, Google AI Studio, Midjourney, or similar.
Able to combine AI-generated assets with Photoshop editing to create polished final thumbnails.
Strong understanding of what makes a thumbnail clickable.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to follow an established visual style.
Able to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have:
Experience designing thumbnails for movie, entertainment, or YouTube automation channels.
Experience creating LinkedIn graphics and carousel posts.
Familiarity with CTR optimization and A/B testing.
Experience analyzing successful thumbnails and using those insights to improve designs.
Ability to create original thumbnail concepts rather than simply following templates.

You don’t need to pay for these AI tools yourself. We will provide access to the tools needed for the work.
