Introduction: We are a furniture DTC and B2B ecommerce company specializing in office furniture.
Who we are looking for: An independent contractor, non affiliated with an agency, who is looking for 40 hour full-time work weeks with significant expertise with custom Shopify stores and development, proficient in building scalable and dynamic liquid code with JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
- You will be working hand-in-hand with our marketing director who will provide briefs on what exactly to change and how we will do it. It is your job to think of best coding practices, scalability, modular, and dependability of code.
- Joining meetings anywhere from 9am to 5pm EST to communicate about vision and needs on a weekly basis.
- Reporting directly to our marketing director.
- Bug-free and thoroughly tested features.
- Documentation for all changes made.
Prerequisites:
- Available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Proficient in English.
- Proficient in Shopify stores and apps.
- Proficient in CRO technology (
- Proficient in Liquid code and others.
- Hours will be tracked through Upwork, with screen-sharing turned on.
- Slack and
- During business hours, reply 2 hours after initial request.
- Follows instructions to the tea.
- From stage 2 onwards, you will become full-time. Work other than Arc Grove is prohibited.
- Performance (site-load) considerations.
- Scalability notes for future.
How things will work:
1. Meeting to go over expectations of deliverable and timeline.
2. implementation of what's needed.
3. Communication of what is done during business hours.
4. Meeting to go over what is done and pushing live.
Stages:
Stage 1: Current Project Scope - 2 week prohibitionary period
Hours: 80 hours, 40 hours a week, 9am-5pm est availability.
Hourly wage: $7/hr
Delivery time: 2 weeks from start.
Information: You will be provided a brief of what needs to be changed. Respond with considerations of how and what needs to be done, any gaps in knowledge that you need to know in order to implement. Before starting, documentation of current website will be provided to you.
Stage 2: Implementation Tea
Hours: 80 hours, 40 hours a week, 9am-5pm est availability.
Hourly wage: $9/hr
Start date: Immediately after stage 1 considering deliverable is as asked for.
Information: This stage of collaboration will look like the 2 week probationary period, just a bigger scope and more projects.
Stage 3: Conversion rate optimization + Implementation Tea
Horus: 80 hours, 40 hours a week, 9am-5pm est availability.
Hourly wage: $12/hr
Start date: If experience in CRO is observed from marketing director, and when all changes in stage 2 are implemented/
Information: Implementation, design in Figma, website and client experience analysis.
