JOB OVERVIEW

I'm seeking a skilled video editor to assist in creating long-form YouTube videos that feature 4K wildlife, animals, nature, and landscapes, accompanied by relaxing background music.

The two biggest priorities for this channel are:

Creating a relaxing, immersive viewing experience

Showcasing beautiful, crystal-clear 4K nature and wildlife footage

I'm looking for someone with a good eye for selecting stunning footage and creating videos that are both visually impressive and incredibly relaxing to watch.

Please review these examples before applying so that you understand the type of content and editing style I'm looking for.

Workload

- 4 videos per month (1 per week)
- Videos between 1–2 hours long
- Ideally, around 2 hours when enough high-quality footage is available
- Shorter videos are acceptable when suitable stock footage is difficult to find or insufficient
- Potential to increase to up to 8 videos per month in the future

Requirements

DaVinci Resolve is required.

The videos need to be edited in DaVinci Resolve because color grading and certain Resolve features will be an important part of the workflow.

Computer

You must have a powerful PC capable of comfortably handling long 4K projects, including:

- 4K 60fps footage
- Long 1–2 hour timelines
- 4K 60fps playback and editing
- 4K 60fps rendering/exporting
- Optical Flow processing
- Noise Reduction processing
- Large amounts of high-resolution stock footage

Please include your full PC specifications in your application, including CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage.

Internet

A fast and reliable internet connection is required.

You will regularly download large amounts of 4K stock footage from platforms such as Envato Elements and Artlist, so please include your download and upload speeds when applying.

I will provide access to Envato Elements and Artlist.

What I'm Looking For

The ideal editor can:

- Select beautiful, high-quality 4K footage
- Create smooth, natural, relaxing pacing
- Match visuals naturally with relaxing background music
- Maintain excellent visual clarity throughout the video
- Perform professional color grading in DaVinci Resolve
- Make footage from different sources look visually consistent
- Use Optical Flow to create smooth motion
- Use Noise Reduction when needed to improve footage quality
- Avoid repetitive clips
- Create a seamless and immersive viewing experience

There are no talking heads, subtitles, motion graphics, or complex visual effects required.

The focus is on beautiful visuals, professional color grading, visual clarity, relaxing pacing, and premium image quality.

Compensation

Base Pay

€1.25 per finished minute

Examples:

60-minute video = €75
90-minute video = €112.50
100-minute video = € ---------- minute video = €150

Performance Bonuses – Cumulative

100K views → +€25
250K views → +€50
500K views → +€100
1M views → +€200

The bonuses are cumulative.

For example, a 100-minute video that reaches 1 million views would earn:

€125 base pay
+€25 at 100K
+€50 at 250K
+€100 at 500K
+€200 at 1M

Total: €500

The maximum performance bonus per video is €375, reached at 1 million views.
