I am building a new YouTube channel called Brand Misfire for a US audience. The channel focuses on premium long-form business documentaries about major brand failures, marketing disasters, and corporate misfires.
The editing style should feel closest to channels like CoreSight, MagnatesMedia, and partially ColdFusion:
- cinematic and controlled
- strong hooks and retention
- clean pacing
- premium motion graphics
- tasteful sound design
- not generic social media editing
This is NOT a simple cut-and-caption job.
I am looking for an editor who can help create polished long-form documentary videos using a combination of:
- strong story-driven editing
- motion graphics / After Effects work
- licensed stock and archival sourcing
- clean typography and infographic-style visuals
- cinematic sound design
- high attention to detail
What I provide:
- a fully written English script
- a finished English voiceover
- clear creative direction
- references, structure, and very specific instructions
What you will do:
- edit long-form YouTube documentary videos
- source strong licensed footage, archive, and visual material
- build clean motion graphics, number graphics, and documentary-style visual explanations
- use sound design with restraint and purpose
- create a premium final cut, not just a basic timeline assembly
Important:
I am NOT looking for a shorts editor, TikTok editor, or fast template-based social media editor.
I am looking for someone who understands long-form pacing, documentary storytelling, and polished visual packaging.
Project structure:
- start with 2 videos per month
- paid test first
- then 1 pilot video
- if the fit is strong, this can become ongoing long-term work
- budget can grow if the channel performs well and the quality is right
Budget:
- paid test: $40 for editing the first 80 seconds
- ongoing rate to start: $175 per video
- initial workload: 2 videos per month
To apply, please send:
1. the word PEPSI349
2. 1 or 2 of your BEST examples that are closest to premium documentary / motion graphics work
3. confirmation that you are comfortable with the paid test and starting budget
Please do not send wedding videos, gaming edits, or mostly short-form social media work unless your documentary-style work is clearly stronger.
I am looking for a creative partner who can help build something serious and high quality from the start.
