Long-Form Vlog Video Editor (Per-Project / As-Needed)
Type: Freelance, per-project (not weekly or on a fixed schedule)
Location: Remote / Philippines
Pay: Per video, rate to be discussed based on experience
About the Gig
I’m looking for a talented video editor to turn my raw footage into polished, dynamic YouTube vlogs. This isn’t a weekly retainer, it’s an as-needed gig. I film randomly, whenever I have content worth turning into a vlog, so the work will come in bursts rather than on a set schedule. When I have a project ready, I’ll send you a Google Drive folder with everything organized inside, and I’m hoping to find someone who can jump on it fairly quickly and have fun turning it into something great.
What You’ll Be Doing
• I’ll drop all my raw footage, clips, and any extra assets into an organized Google Drive folder
• You’ll take that footage and edit it into a cohesive, dynamic vlog
• I’ll send you examples of styles and vlogs I like so you can learn my taste, from there I want you to bring your own creativity to the edit, not just follow a template
• Add music, pacing, transitions, text/graphics, whatever the footage calls for to make it feel like a real vlog and not just clips stitched together
• Take feedback and revise, I’ll give notes and I need someone who can turn those around without getting precious about it
What I’m Looking For
• Strong video editing skills, specifically for long-form YouTube content (this is not short-form/Reels editing)
• Quick response time, when I let you know a folder is ready, I’d love for you to be able to start on it soon after
• Quick turnaround on the edit itself
• Flexibility with scheduling since this isn’t a set weekly thing, work will come in waves depending on when I film
• Open to feedback, I’ll give edit notes here and there and just need someone easy to collaborate with on revisions
• A creative eye and good instincts, I love an editor who can take raw footage and really bring it to life
• Experience editing vlogs or lifestyle/personal brand content is a big plus
Tools
Comfortable with Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar), and pulling footage from Google Drive.
