ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a Long-Form Video Editor to support client delivery across podcasts, interviews, and YouTube content. This role is responsible for producing high-quality video assets while maintaining organised, efficient production workflows.

You will manage multiple client workloads simultaneously, balancing long-form edits with short-form derivatives, and ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high standard and on time.

This is a self-managed, accountable role suited to someone who can operate independently while communicating proactively within a remote team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit long-form content (YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews) with strong pacing, clarity, and retention
- Extract and produce short-form clips from long-form content for social distribution
- Deliver final, publish-ready assets across all formats
- Organise projects and source files for efficient collaboration and handoff
- Manage deadlines across multiple client accounts and ensure consistent output
- Communicate proactively on progress, delays, and blockers
- Apply internal systems and workflows to maintain speed and consistency
- Leverage AI tools to improve production efficiency

CAPACITY & OUTPUT EXPECTATIONS
- Support 2–3 client workloads simultaneously, depending on scope
- Each workload may include:
- Long-form YouTube/podcast editing (core)
- Supporting short-form clip creation
Output expectations will vary depending on complexity and motion graphics requirements, but consistency and reliability are critical.

REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience editing long-form video content (YouTube, podcasts, interviews)
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention
- Experience creating short-form content tailored to social platforms
- Proficiency in editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools and workflows
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in parallel
- Strong organisational skills and clean file management practices
- Clear, reliable communication and ability to flag issues early
- Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable working in a remote environment

- Experience editing for founders, creators, or personal brands
- Understanding of platform-specific editing styles

COMPENSATION & WORKING TERMS
- Monthly compensation of $1,500–$2,500 (based on experience and performance)
