**About the Role**

We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented video editor to create engaging long-form YouTube content focused on Formula 1. This role is ideal for someone who understands motorsport storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, and can bring race narratives to life through compelling edits and clean voiceover integration.

**Responsibilities**

* Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20+ minutes) centered on Formula 1 topics (race breakdowns, driver stories, controversies, history, etc.)
* Sync and enhance voiceovers with visuals, music, and sound effects
* Source and incorporate relevant footage, images, and clips (within fair use guidelines)
* Add engaging elements such as subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, zooms, and overlays
* Maintain strong pacing and storytelling to maximize viewer retention
* Collaborate on creative direction, structure, and video concepts when needed
* Deliver high-quality videos on a consistent schedule

**Requirements**

* Proven experience editing YouTube content (portfolio required)
* Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and retention strategies
* Familiarity with Formula 1 (teams, drivers, race format, current events)
* Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
* Ability to work with voiceovers and enhance audio quality
* Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar is a plus)
* Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
