Role Overview:
The Account Manager (AM) owns the client relationship post-sale. You are the single point of contact for a portfolio of local business clients, ensuring that fulfillment is completed on time, reporting is clear, and client concerns are preemptively addressed. You do not perform fulfillment tasks yourself — you manage them. This is a client-facing project manager role with zero cold sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients
Monitor fulfillment activity and ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule by the Fulfillment Specialist.
Review and QA reports prior to client delivery.
Send monthly performance updates and fulfillment reports using Vineyard’s internal templates.
Proactively identify and escalate red/yellow account status (performance decline, client dissatisfaction, etc.).
Maintain accurate client records and status updates in CRM (
Coordinate with internal teams (Fulfillment, Team Lead) to resolve blockers.
Performance Metrics:
Client retention rate
Fulfillment accuracy and timeliness
Client satisfaction (measured via internal signals, not direct feedback)
CRM compliance and reporting timeliness
Requirements:
2+ years in account management, client success, or project coordination
Familiarity with digital marketing or local SEO strongly preferred
Strong written communication skills
High attention to detail and task follow-through
Comfortable managing 80–100 clients concurrently in a templated, structured environment
