ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support our US-based loan officers from application through closing. You will be the backbone of our loan pipeline — keeping files moving, borrowers informed, and our team focused on closing deals.
This is not a call center job. This is a professional operations role with real career growth potential in the US mortgage industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collect, organize, and verify borrower documents (income, assets, ID, disclosures)
- Follow up with borrowers via phone,
- Build clean, complete loan files ready for processing and submission
- Update CRM (Go High Level) with accurate notes and task management
- Coordinate with processors, title companies, escrow officers, and clients
- Assist with AUS findings and pre-qualification workflows (training provided)
- Prepare files for submission and assist with clearing basic loan conditions
- Deliver a professional, high-touch borrower experience on every file
- Attend daily team check-ins via Zoom or Google Meet

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Excellent written and spoken English — you will communicate directly with US clients
- Strong attention to detail — errors in mortgage files cost time and money
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet work environment
- Self-managed, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable with CRM tools, Google Workspace, and cloud-based systems
Strong Bonus (not required — we will train the right person):
- Previous experience in US mortgage processing, LOA, or loan support
- Knowledge of US mortgage terms (DTI, LTV, AUS, DU/LP, underwriting)
- Experience with Go High Level, Encompass, or similar LOS/CRM platforms
- Background in banking, lending, real estate, or financial services
- Experience working with US-based clients or companies
Not a Fit If:
- You struggle with fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- You need constant supervision and direction
- You are not comfortable communicating with US clients by phone or
- You have frequent internet or power outages with no backup solution
