Level 3 Engineer – Managed Services Provider

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Level 3 Engineer to join our Managed Services team. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional technology outcomes for clients across industries - from professional services to construction and manufacturing.

What You’ll Do
• Microsoft Management – Design, implement, secure and maintain Microsoft 365 for clients (EntraID, Azure, Conditional Access, Intune with autopilot, Office Applications, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, etc.).
• Lead migrations, upgrades, and onboarding projects—including Microsoft 365 transitions, server rebuilds, and security initiatives.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and network infrastructure across diverse client environments (Cisco Meraki, SonicWall).
• Oversee virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure Virtual Machines.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including conditional access, MFA, identity governance, and endpoint protection (Cisco Secure Endpoint).
• Develop and execute automation scripts using ConnectWise Automate, PowerShell, and Power Automate.
• Identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis and proactively recommend infrastructure improvements.

• Serve as the Level/Tier 3 escalation point for advanced client issues across infrastructure, cloud, and security.
• Mentor and support Level 1–2 technicians, sharing knowledge and documenting solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication, accountability, and follow-through.
• Design, implement, secure, and maintain Google Workspace environments.

• Participate in compliance and reporting initiatives such as CIS, NIST, HIPAA, or cyber insurance reviews.
• Implement reliable data protection, backup, and disaster recovery strategies with regularly testing.
What You Bring – Areas of Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in an MSP or multi-tenant IT environment.
• Cybersecurity frameworks, processes, and remediation protocols.
• Microsoft 365 – Administration, EntraID, Intune (including autopilot and scripting), Defender, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, security & compliance.
• Azure – Virtual machines, networking, identity, storage, and policy management.
• Windows Server – Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.
• Endpoint security (Cisco Secure Endpoint experience preferred)

• Network design, management and firewall management (Meraki, SonicWall)
• Strong working knowledge of ConnectWise tools: Automate, PSA/Manage, ScreenConnect.
• Competence in networking and firewalls, especially Meraki and SonicWall.
• RMM/PowerShell scripting, Power Automate, and a mindset for continuous improvement.
• Excellent English communication skills—both written and spoken.
• A sense of ownership, professionalism, and pride in every task.
Schedule
• Full-time role supporting U.S. hours (EST).
• Core hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
• Options for flexibility on hours on a case-by-case basis
