We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented assistant to remotely/virtually assist a medical-legal expert witness group (primarily psychiatrists and orthopedic surgeons) in medical malpractice, personal injury, and probate/competency cases. The role primarily involves finding attorneys and cases relevant to the experts’ work, managing case lead data, organizing case documents.
Overall: Outreach to attorneys, document organization, expert support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search for relevant cases and their attorneys
- Manage case lead data in spreadsheets
- Send outreach
- Indexing (organizing case-related documents)
- Use AI to assist you in some tasks
Other:
- Reformat expert's CVs
- Document review (finding and transferring key info from PDFs)
Optional Responsibilities:
- Fine-tune AI prompts
- Basic event planning
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to search and find basic medical information (medication lists, psychiatric history)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good academic standing for current students, associates degree (AA) or college degree (BA) preferred
