ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is not a “cut clips and wait for instructions” job.
I’m looking for a Lead Video Editor who wants ownership, creative freedom, and a long-term opportunity with a purpose-driven brand.
You will take raw video content and turn it into emotionally compelling, high-energy videos that educate, inspire, and move people to action. If you love clean edits, strong storytelling, and content that actually matters, keep reading.
Some overlap with U.S. Pacific Time is preferred for meetings and alignment.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 90 DAYS)
I record content and upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox
You take it from there
Videos are edited, optimized, and delivered consistently without me bothering you
By Day 30, you understand my voice, tone, and boundaries well enough to work with full autonomy
YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
???? Editing (Primary Responsibility)
Clean, professional jump cuts
Dynamic pacing with zooms, emphasis, and pattern breaks
Subtitles always on, using a consistent caption style (templates provided or created)
Music used intentionally to match the emotional tone of the video
Edits that touch the heart, not just follow trends
???? Content Output
Long-form YouTube: 1 video per week (48-hour turnaround)
Short-form daily content (sometimes 2x/day):
Instagram Reels
YouTube Shorts
TikTok
Facebook
Consistency is non-negotiable
???? Creative Ownership
Choose clips
Write hooks
Write captions
Design thumbnails
Make performance-based suggestions (titles, openings, pacing)
