JOB OVERVIEW

Task 1: Influencers for the e-commerce brand

What you'll do

Find AU and US influencer accounts and feed them to the scraper, continuously, no duplicates

Run the Instagram scraper, which pulls out every brand that has appeared in those accounts' content

Run LinkedIn scraping to get the actual marketing contact at each brand, not a generic ----------

Verify every result by hand: open the post to check the brand placement was real, open the website to check the business exists and makes sense

Dedupe against brands we have already pitched

Add the survivors to the pitching sheet

Tools you'll use

Instagram scraper (custom script) + your own Instagram account
Runs against the influencer account list and pulls out every brand that appeared in their content. We provide it and show you how to run it. You don't need to code, but you need to follow the steps, handle the output files, and tell us when a run fails rather than quietly skipping it.

LinkedIn scraping tool ( ---------- ) + your own LinkedIn account
Finds the actual marketing person at each brand rather than a generic inbox.

Your own ChatGPT or Claude account
First pass on raw scraped data to strip out obvious junk before you review it manually. This is a rough sort only, not a substitute for checking each row yourself.

Google Sheets
Where everything lives. You need to be comfortable with lookup formulas, since deduping a new list of 200 against our existing contacted list is a formula job, not a manual one.

Instagram (your own) and a web browser
Opening each post to confirm the brand placement was real, and each brand website to confirm the business exists and makes sense. This is manual and it's the most important part of the role.

Task 2: Influencers for the e-commerce brand

What you'll do

Find AU dog influencers for the ambassador program: 5,000+ followers, good engagement, quality content, premium look, still posting

Find gifting candidates across AU and US, dog accounts or people with dogs

Deliver both as name, handle, followers, engagement, location

Searching hashtags, locations and similar account suggestions to find dog influencers. Browsing only, no account access needed from us.

Engagement calculator or manual check
Working out engagement rate from likes and comments against follower count. Any free tool, or a simple formula in Sheets.

Google Sheets
Candidate lists: name, handle, followers, engagement, location.
