JOB OVERVIEW

Lead Graphic Designer and Social Strategist
Location: Remote Type: Full-time, exclusive Compensation: Competitive

This is an exclusive position. We are looking for someone fully committed to this role, and tea ---------- mbers may not hold other employment or take on outside client work while employed with us.

About Us
We are a rapidly growing national coaching and speaking business serving financial advisors who want to build businesses that run without them. Our team is small, fast-moving, and deeply invested in the work. Every person here has a direct hand in the outcome, and we like it that way.

You will be representing the brand of a nationally recognized public figure, author, and speaker: Justin Goodbread. We are scaling this brand to the level of creators like Dan Martell, Ed Mylett, Myron Golden, Taki Moore, Codie Sanchez, and Alex Hormozi. The designer we hire will play a central role in getting us there.

Our Values
Hungry, Humble, and Smart. This is what we look for in every employee and what we demonstrate ourselves. We want people who are driven to do great work, secure enough to check their ego at the door, and sharp about how they work with others.

Turn the Turtle. This value comes from one of Justin’s personal stories. It means if you see something that needs to be done and you can do it, you should. No waiting for permission, no assuming it’s someone else’s job.

Be Relentless: Initiative and Innovation. Show leadership in your position. If you see a way to better the company and move us ahead ethically, take action.

What You Will Do
Weekly podcast content. Each week you will create the full graphic package supporting our podcast, including carousels, standalone graphics, episode thumbnails, and promotional material. You will work from a creative brief provided by the team, then bring it to life with skill and taste.

Personal brand graphics. You will take ad hoc source material and turn it into content that promotes the personal brand. This includes promotional book content, campaign material, quote graphics, coaching graphics, testimonials, and more. Some weeks the raw material will be polished. Other weeks it will be a transcript, a voice memo, or a rough idea, and you will need to find the visual angle yourself.

Original ideas. Briefs are a starting point, not a ceiling. We want someone who studies what the best creators in this space are doing, researches independently, pitches their own concepts, and executes them without waiting to be asked.

Autonomous ownership of the workload. We are a small team, which means we will depend on you to manage the full graphics workload without someone looking over your shoulder. You will keep your own pipeline moving, stay ahead of weekly deadlines, and ask the team for support or source materials in a timely manner when you need them. Waiting until the day before a deadline to flag a missing asset does not work here.

Analytics and performance tracking. You will monitor how our graphics perform across social platforms using tools like Metricool, identifying what is working, what is not, and why. You will pair that data with inspiration from other leading brands to sharpen our visual strategy over time, so the work gets measurably better month over month rather than staying static.

Additional work as needed. Beyond the weekly content rhythm, you will support larger projects as they arise. These include coaching materials such as client workbooks, promotional material for events and offers, slide decks, keynote speaking material, and book design. Some of these carry longer timelines and higher stakes, and you will be trusted to deliver at the same standard.

Who You Are
You have a strong portfolio of social-first design work: carousels, thumbnails, quote graphics, and short-form promotional content that performs on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
You can hold a consistent brand identity across dozens of assets per month while still keeping the work fresh.
You do your own research. You know who the top creators in the coaching and personal brand space are, you pay attention to what they publish, and you understand why it works.
You thrive on a team. You give constructive feedback with care and receive it without defensiveness, and you treat revision as part of the craft rather than a critique of your worth.
You perform in a fast-paced environment. Deadlines here are real, weekly, and non-negotiable, and you know how to hit them without letting quality slip.
You take ownership. When something is unclear, you ask. When something is broken, you flag it. When you see a better way, you say so.

Performance Expectations
This role carries clear, measurable output standards. You will know exactly what success looks like.

Weekly: the full graphic package for that week’s podcast episode, consisting of 2-3 carousels and 8-10 static graphics of varying styles and purposes, plus a YouTube thumbnail for the podcast and a social announcement graphic using a premade Canva template, each with proper CTAs aligned to the event calendar.

Monthly: a minimum of 10 testimonial graphics, at least 4 proactive concept pitches of your own, asset packages for workshop and event cycles, and ongoing inspiration research documented for the team.

Deadlines: deliverables are due per their assigned due date in our project management system. If a deadline is at risk, we expect proactive communication before it slips, never after.

Workload flex: high-priority projects take precedence when they arise. Lighter weeks mean increased autonomous output and research, not reduced volume.

Nice to Have
Experience designing for a personal brand, coach, speaker, or creator
Familiarity with YouTube thumbnail strategy and what drives click-through
Motion graphics or light video editing skills
Experience working alongside videographers and content teams

How to Apply
Send your portfolio and a short note telling us which creator in this space has the best visual brand right now and why. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Applicants under consideration will receive an invite to participate in a paid trial project and a virtual interview with the team. The full-time position begins with a 90 day trial period that transitions into a full-time role upon completion and demonstrated ability, work ethic, and willingness to grow and collaborate.
